Obituary: Alice M. Soboleski, 104, passed away at 8:00 p.m. , May 13, 2014 at Sprenger of Mishawaka. She was born on 1, 1909 to the late Frank L. and Stella (Radaj) Dobski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by her son, Patrick H. Soboleski; and two brothers, Theodore and Edmund Dobski. Mrs. Soboleski worked as a secretary at Studebaker for 16 years. She then worked for 17 years for the Department of Defense in South Bend, before retiring in 1972. On 28, 1945, as Alice M. Dobski, she married Henry J. Soboleski at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. He passed away on May 19, 1992. Alice is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Allen) Marker of Bremen, IN; daughter-in-law, Justine Soboleski of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Alissa Soboleski of South Bend, IN; Patrick J. (Cristina) Soboleski of Whitestown, IN; Stacy Marker-Miller (Nick) of South Bend, IN; Kyle Marker of Monroe, MI; and one great-granddaughter, Claire Miller of South Bend, IN. Alice was a lifelong member of St. Hedwig Parish, where she belonged to the Rosary Society and Golden Cluster. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella; The Associates of St. Joseph; and Government Retirees. Alice was also a former volunteer for Hope, Faith and Charity Chapel; Catholic Charities; Hannah Lindahl Childrens Museum; and Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m. , May 16, 2014 at Kaniewski , 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. , May 17, 2014 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph . Obituary: Beth Monique Soblotne, 46, of Kokomo, passed away 13, 2015 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born 7, 1968 in Kokomo, she is the daughter of John E. Sonafrank and Patricia Ann (Zartman) Sonafrank. She was a 1986 graduate of Eastern High School. She was currently employed with Chrysler for the last 18 years in production control. She was an avid reader who also was instrumental in editing, publishing, and promoting a book in Howard . She loved dogs, photography, and always found the perfect gift to give someone. She loved her family; and was loving and caring to other people, helping them any way she could. Beth was a member of U.A.W. Local #685; also a member of Church of the Brethren. Survivors include one son Nathan (Robyn) Soblotne of San Diego, California; one daughter Lauren Kristine Soblotne of Kokomo; her parents John E. (Patricia) Sonafrank of Kokomo; one brother James (Carrie) Sonafrank of Kokomo; one nephew Gavin Sonafrank of Kokomo and one niece Sadie Sonafrank of Kokomo. services will be 12:00 noon , 21, 2015 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo.
