Obituary: Patricia Jean Bullock Sirrine, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, rejoined her eternal companion of 56 years, George Keith Sirrine, on 1, 2016. Patricia (Pat) was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada on 12, 1930 to Lynn and Nina Bullock. Pat was a devoted and loving wife to her sweetheart and family of 3 boys and 4 girls. She loved spending time with her family, and took great pleasure being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone who met Pat became an instant friend. She had the wonderful gift of making anyone she came in contact feel special and welcome. She always enjoyed serving with her dear church friends at the Humanitarian . Pat was crowned Miss Southern Alberta and in the top 10 for Miss Canada. She attended BYU in 1948 where she met Keith. were sealed for eternity in the Cardston, Alberta, Canada Temple in 1949. Keiths work in the oil industry led to many moves including: Kingston, Jamaica; Havana, Cuba; Texas; and back to Canada. Along the way, she served in many callings in the LDS Church. Anyone who was lucky enough to eat a meal made by Pat, knew she was a talented hostess and cook. She enjoyed her calling at the Calgary Mission , where she served and cooked for the missionaries entering and leaving the mission. Together with her two sisters, she authored a national best-selling cookbook which led to numerous TV appearances. Keith retired, they served an 18 month mission in the Ghana, Africa. also served a mission at Temple Square for one year. Toward the end of her life, she looked forward to rejoining her husband and sharing in the work of the gospel once again. Pat is survived by five of her children, Georgia (Greg) Bird, Rona (Glenn) Johnston, Renee (Donald) Yakiwchuk, John Sirrine (Janine), and Sterling (Lisa) Sirrine. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, sisters Norma (Clark) Leavitt and Sandra (Ron) Sirrine, and a brother, Cameron Bullock. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, a sister, daughter Danai Elizabeth, and son George Kimball. services will be at the LDS Chapel located at 2433 West 450 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah on , 8, 2016 at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held , 7, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 300 East 494 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah and at the LDS Chapel located at 2433 West 450 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah on , 8, 2016 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am prior to the funeral. There will also be a viewing held , 9, 2016 at Meldrums Mortuary located at 52 North Macdonald, Mesa, Arizona from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Mesa City located at 1212 North Street, Mesa, Arizona on , 11, 2016 at 11:00 am with a family luncheon at noon. |

Obituary: HEATHER ELIZABETH RICE-SIRRINE passed away on , 21, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Helam Mark Sirrine, her son, Tristan Joseph Rice, her daughter, Autumn Rebetha Rice-Sirrine, and her mother, Hazelyn Beth Rice. Heather loved to dress up and play out characters of her own device. Her first costume was when she was 6 days old. Her mother created an elf costume and took her trick or treating. Costuming was in her blood from the moment on. She won several costume contests at various Science Fiction Conventions over the years. She first met her husband Helam, while in costume. She was renowned for her characterization of the Penguin from Batman. She loved the Sci-Fi community and was active in it for many years. She was also involved with the Society for Creative Anachronism for many years. She participated as an actor at the Arizona Renaissance Festival for several years. In recent years she was active as a panelist at the Phoenix ComiCon. She loved her husband of 2 years very much and had introduced him to her world of costuming and Sci-Fi Cons. She adored her children and was planning a trip to Disneyland with them. She touched many lives in different sub-cultures in the Valley and will be missed for her |
