Obituary: Mary Evalena Saylor Evie, 90, passed away on 13, 2017 in Tempe, Arizona. Evie was born in Pawnee Buttes, Colorado on 20, 1926. Evie was a loving and wonderful homemaker who loved being a wife and mother. She was also the proud owner of Artistic Yarns and Knit Shop in Tempe. Evie was a wonderful cook whose legacy in the kitchen will live on through her delicious recipes. She also loved flowers and gardening. Evie is survived by daughter, Cindy Carver (David Carver); Grandsons, Sean and Sky Reynolds; Son-In-Law, Mike Compton and multiple loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Clair Byron Saylor and her daughter Connie Compton. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Evies memory to Hospice of the Valley at https://www.hov.org/donate. A Graveside Service to celebrate the lives of Evie and her husband Clair will be held on , 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres in Scottsdale, Arizona. |
