Obituary: Aaron Swinson, 81, went to be with the Lord on , 1, 2017. He was born in Coolidge, GA on 10, 1935. Aaron served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service. He went on to work as a quality inspector at the Kennedy Space . Aaron was an avid golfer, fisherman and loved working in his garden. A loving husband, father, brother and friend Aaron will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Katherine; his son, David Swinson; his daughter, Dawna Seymour and her husband Bob; his brother, Alfred Swinson and his wife Linda and his sister Irene Thomas There will be a visitation on , 11 from 1-2:30pm held at Calvary Baptist Church, 2980 N. Wickham Rd. Melbourne, FL 32935, followed funeral service at 2:30pm. Interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. Obituary: Ruth Nancy Swinnerton, 87, passed away at her home in Fort Lauderdale on 10, 2015. Ruth suffered a major stroke in 2009, from which she never fully recovered. Ruth was born 3, 1928, in New Bedford, MA to Earl E. and Alice E. Manchester. She grew up in South Dartmouth, MA amongst a large family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and her beloved cousins. Ruth loved the outdoors and was an avid horsewoman at a young age and an active participant with The Mariners Girl Scout Troop. She graduated from Dartmouth High School and the Kinyon Business School and attended Dean Junior . Ruth left college during the depression to help her father, Earl Manchester and her uncle, Carl Manchester, run their hardware store which was located in Padnaram Village. Ruth married George Alden Swinnerton in 1956 and shortly thereafter, boarded a sailboat and sailed from Massachusetts to Fort Lauderdale. Ruth and her family spent every summer in South Dartmouth until the midâ€1970s. She was a passionate and knowledgeable collector of antiques and absolutely loved animals of all types. She remained in the same Ft. Lauderdale neighborhood since 1963 living amongst a host of wonderful friends and neighbors. Those who knew her best also knew how sincerely generous and kind her spirit was. Ruth is survived by Howard A. Swinnerton, of Fort Lauderdale and Joâ€Ellen Cox (Don), of Boca Raton. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Ruths ashes will be spread on the Apponagansett River in the beautiful Village of Padnaram, South Dartmouth, MA, sometime next summer.
