Obituary: John Allen Surin Sr. 3/6/1967 - 12/8/2015 - 48 years of age Navy Veteran of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Survived by his son John Allen Surin Jr. His daughter Brittney, two grandchildren Joanna and Landon.Parents Joan & Paul Surin of Ft. Pierce, Fl. Four brothers Michael Surin (Kathleen); David Surin; Stephen Surin; Joseph Surin (Casondra). His Aunt Mary Ann Petricca and Aunt and Uncle Ronald & Phyllis Ziobroski. Several Nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy Villa devoted companion for the past several years. John was a graduate of Draper High School where he was involved with the marching band and several sports. He went right into the Navy and took several technical courses with many government outreaches. He was an International Representative for Argon St, S.T. Research, and Boeing Aircraft. A past member of the American Legion Post 162 Lorton Va., VFW, Moose Lodge, Fraternal order of Eagles. He received a degree in Divinity and continued to be a leader and friend to all. There will be no viewing or service as per Johns wishes. He will have his ashes distributed at sea by the US Navy. In lieu of flowers contributions should be directed to the American Legion Post 162,8210 Legion Dr. Lorton, VA.22079.VA Medical of West Palm Beach www.westpalmbeach.va.gov; Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road Fort Pierce, FL 34981 www.TCHospice.org and St. Lucie Medical . Obituary: RONALD PETER SURIANO, 79, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away 1, 2016 at Lawnwood Regional Medical in Fort Pierce, FL. Born in Detroit, MI, Ron was a ten year resident of Port St. Lucie, FL, after moving from De Soto,Texas. He graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering Administration from The George Washington University. Mr. Suriano served for over 22 years in the US Air Force and retired as a Lt Colonel. He served the US Air Force in a variety of positions as a Base Civil Engineer, Combat Engineer with RED HORSE, and as an Environmental and Systems Safety Engineer. He was a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Flight Instructor up to the Instrument level, and a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. He was a member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council and 4th degree Assembly in St Lucie West; and past member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council in Duncanville, TX. Ron was also active in supporting the Treasure Coast Hospice fundraising efforts, and an active member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where he volunteered on the golf tournament committee and served as a Eucharistic Minister. His passions were flying, bowling, boating, fishing, and golfing. Of note, he bowled a perfect 300 in a sanctioned game. He is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Marilyn, of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Deborah Mahnken of Springfield (husband Tom), VA; two sons, Col Mark Suriano, Ph D, of Albuquerque, NM (wife Briar), Kevin Suriano of Carrollton, VA (wife Kim); sister, Patricia Perrault of West Grand Blanc, MI; brother, Edward Suriano of Putnam, CT (wife JoAnn); and four grandchildren, Thomas and Rachel Mahnken and Sophia and Joseph Suriano. Visitation will be on , 12, 2016, from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at the Aycock , 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on , 13, 2016, at 10:00AM, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL.
