Obituary: Donna Venita Sudler, daughter and middle child of the late David A and Barbara A. Sudler, was born on 25, 1966 and departed this life on 17, 2015 at her home in Haines City Florida. Donna graduated from William Penn High School where she was an avid cheerleader. She honored our family with her volunteer efforts that resulted in her debut and attended Norfolk State University. She was a long time member of Ezion Mount Carmel United Methodist Church volunteering as the Membership Chairperson and the Usher Board. Donna tirelessly gave her time to the American Cancer Society. Participating in many events including the Relay for Life until her diagnosis in 2006. Her zest for life was contagious. She was a very active person, enjoying sports (especially her beloved Cowboys); theatre, music and travel. Donna loved to travel. Eventually opting to leave Delaware for Central Florida in 2012. She was renewed with this move, landing one of her favorite work experiences as Administrative Assistant to the VP of Global Sales for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Family meant everything to Donna. A devoted daughter, she cared for her mother and sat vigil by her side until her death. Her true joy in life was the birth of her sons. The three have been inseparable. The bond made stronger by every trial or obstacle that they have shared. Donna insisted that I mention what loving sons and great support they have always been. With the help of her daughter-in-law, Yelixa, truly building an incredible circle of love and support around her to insure she had the utmost care when she needed it. She would also like to recognize Anthony Stevens whom she co-parented with for 28 years. The two have been friends since kindergarten. Her friend Marcia has been a treasured gift as she never wavered in her dedicated support. Donna is survived by her sons, Brett A (Yelixa) and Brandon W. Stevens. Her brothers, David A (Desiree) and Derrick D (Liz); 2 nieces, Chanae and Paige; a nephew, Dash; 2 aunts, Doris Chapman and Loretta Pleasant; 1 great aunt, Lowtha Hayes; 4 uncles, William H (Theresa), Thurman L (Shirley), Vernell (Kathie) Brown, Howard S (Norma) Sudler and a host of loving cousins, family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am 31 at Ezion Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 800 Walnut Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. |

Obituary: Rebecca Martin Sudduth, age 76, passed away peacefully on 13, 2014 at her home in Jupiter, Florida. Rebecca was born in Birmingham, Alabama, in of 1937. She was the daughter of the late Clyde S. and Dean Martin. Rebecca attended the University of Alabama, where she earned a BA in Economics and Early Childhood Education. Rebecca and her future husband, Norman, first met in high school chemistry class and later dated in college. were married in a quiet civil ceremony after he finished his 3rd year of medical school. Two years were spent with her family in the Air Force in Texas, before coming to South Florida to live. Rebecca enjoyed traveling and later in life discovered a love of Wyoming, where she spent half of her time. She is survived by her Husband, Dr. Norman C. Sudduth; her Sister, MaryAnn Pearson; her Daughters, Susan Durant and Shaun Weiler; and five Grandchildren, Samantha Durant, Aimee Durant, Remi Worsley, Evan Weiler and Grant Weiler. She is predeceased by her Daughter, Shannon Sudduth. A memorial gathering will be held on , 18, 2014, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Taylor & Modeen , 250 Street, Jupiter, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rebeccas memory to the Florida Sherriffs Youth Ranches at ww.youthranches.org/florida-sheriffs-youth-ranches. |
