Obituary: Robert Julian Streger, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, NY and recently Tarpon Springs, FL died unexpectedly on 17, 2012. Bob was an honored member of the New Rochelle community, serving in many of the citys civic, educational and service organizations. Born 3, 1926 in New Rochelle, Bob received his Bachelors degree from Dickinson and Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II, stationed on Guam. In 1952, Bob joined Israel Streger Inc., an independent insurance agency founded by his father, becoming President in 1975. He dedicated countless hours of tireless service to his community. Bob served as President of the Chamber of Commerce of New Rochelle for 14 years and as President of the New Rochelle and Westchester Independent Insurance Agents. He was a District, Ward Leader and Chairman of The New Rochelle City Democratic Committee. He was a member of Rotary International since 1962, receiving the Service Above Self Award, The International Paul Harris Award and the Hall of Fame Award. Most recently, he was President of the Tampa Carrollwood Rotary Club. Bob served as a Board Member of The Y.M.C.A., the United Way of Westchester, the New Rochelle Scholarship Fund, Temple Israel and The Guidance . Bob retired and relocated to Florida in 2007. He will be remembered by all for his kindness, wonderful sense of humor, his quick wit, and infectious laugh. Bob will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his two daughters, Cathy Hartney of Boca Raton, FL with her husband Kevin Hartney and two grandchildren, Chelsea Hartney and Ryan Hartney; and Nancie Whitehouse of Stamford, CT with her husband Tom Whitehouse. services will be held on 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the George T. Davis in New Rochelle, NY followed by a burial at Mount Eden in Valhalla, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Heart Association. |

Obituary: Christopher Glenn Streett was born on 17, 1980 and departed this world on 28, 2015. He leaves behind his wife, Jennifer Streett, who was the love of his life. The two have been inseparable since 1992 when they became fast childhood friends. He also leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Alyssa Streett and his charismatic son, Christopher (CJ) Streett, Jr.; mother, Brenda Dooley; little sister, Lindsay Dooley; father-in-law, Mark Bergan; mother-in-law, Mary Bergan; and brother-in-law, Dr. Brandon Bergan. Chris was the type of person who made your life better. He was a vibrant and kind man who brought happiness and laughter where ever he went. Wonderful only begins to describe the type of father he was. You will never meet a more loyal friend, one that you could rely on to be there no matter what. He was a natural people person. It did not matter if you had not spoken to him in months or years, you could just pick up the conversation as if you had last met yesterday. He will be dearly missed. All services will be held at Hardage Giddens, the Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Obituary: STREETER, William R., 89, passed away on 14th , 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Linehan, mother of Beatrice Ann, William Richard, II and James G. Streeter. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Jessica Carnal. Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Marilyn S. Mulvaney Streeter, his children and their spouses; two granddaughters and three great grandsons. He retired from the Airforce after 28 years of service including WWII, Korea and Vietnam. retirement he taught auto mechanics for eight years at Robinson High School and upon full retirement, he finally realized his lifelong dream of owning a farm, raising Santa Gertrudis Cattle then Macaw parrots and finally a tree farm. William was proud of his service to his country as well as his time spent as a Deacon and School Superintendent first at Manhattan Baptist Church and then Knights Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations either to Florida Baptist Children’s s P.O. Box 8190 Lakeland, FL 33802 or the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509 New York, NY 10018.
