Obituary: STOKELY-William Steven Stokely Bill passed away , 16, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in Flora, Illinois, 18, 1939. He worked with the Illinois Central Railroad for 27 years before moving to Florida and retiring from Florida East Coast Rail Road as Vice President of Engineering . His vocation as a railroader extended to extensive collection of model trains. His active support of Garden Railroading will be sorely missed. Bill is survived by his wife Myrna, daughter Sara, son Steven (jill) of Vero Beach, granddaughter , Jordan and sister Mary Sue Johnson (Donald) of Avinger, TX. Obituary: Murray Marvin Stokely, Jr. passed away peacefully 2, 2017 at Baptist Medical South in Jacksonville, FL. He was born 1, 1952 in Greenville, SC, the son of the late Murray Marvin and Wyline Baird Stokely. He attended a Circle Elementary, Hughes Middle, and J L Mann High School. He played on the Varsity Tennis Team each year in high school and helped the team win the state championship twice. He attended Erskine on a tennis scholarship , serving as captain of the tennis team his senior year. He graduated in 1974 with a BS Degree in Business Administration. Murray was employed at Grumman Aerospace in St. ine, FL as Manager of Financial Planning and Controls up until his retirement. During retirement he enjoyed boating from the Julington Creek Marina, landscaping, and his dogs. Murray is survived by his son, Murray M. Stokely III (Luisa) of Los Altos, CA and their four children Ava, Anja, Lara, and Ian with another son due in . He is also survived by his sister, Wyline Holder (Eddie) and their four children Whitney Blum (Justin) and Stokely Holder (Beth) of Greenville, SC, Paul (Sallie) Holder of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Lindsey Holder (Katie) of Charleston, SC. He is survived by another nephew, Miles Bowman (Melissa) of Easley, SC. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Lucy Stokely of Oakland, CA. In addition to his parents, Murray was predeceased by his daughter, Monica Stokely and brother Baird Bowman. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the Monica Christina Stokely Scholarship Fund (#F014233), University of Florida, PO Box 14225, Gainesville, FL, 32604-2425. A private family gathering with dispersion of the ashes will be held at a later date in Jacksonville. |

Obituary: Stokeley, Phronsie Emily, 79, of Tampa passed away on 3, 2014. She is a devoted and faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Lutz. Phronsie loved to volunteer as a teachers aide at Miles Elementary and was also very involved with Angels Wings & Meals on Wheels. Phronsie was a member of OWLS, Womans Democratic Club, and the Hillsborough League of Women Voters. She was preceded in death by her husband, William and her son, Ross Steven McCloud. Obituary: Michael W. Stoinoff, 66, passed away , 23, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born May 25, 1948 to Robert and Eveline Stoinoff in Pensacola, FL. Mike was a long-standing and loyal member of the Masons and dedicated many years of his life in friendship to his brother Masons and in support of many worthy causes and volunteer activities and projects of the Hyde Park Masonic Lodge and the larger Masonic regional and national programs. Mike enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He watched college football and his favorite team was the Florida Gators. Mike also enjoyed camping, fishing, earned his pilots license and flew his plane out of Craig Airfield. He was a 1st class in the US Navy and loved to have reunions with the nuclear submarine group. Mike is survived by his son, Michael W. Stoinoff Jr., three brothers, Rob Stoinoff, Tim Stoinoff and Jeff Stoinoff. under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country , 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
