Obituary: Floyd R. Stanbrough, 83, departed this life on 20, 2011 in Tampa, FL. He was born Apr. 26, 1928 to Ellsworth and Ruby Stanbrough in Kingfisher, OK. His life long work was being an electrical contractor. While raising a family he also served in the Korean War and was retired with 20 years in the Military as a Non-Commissioned Officer. Preceding him in death was his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann; brother, William; sister, Dorothy and son in law, Terry Lanham. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Mazier-Stanbrough of the home; 5 sons, Roy & wife Beverly, Michael & wife Beth, Robert Dean, Jerry & wife Pam, Larry & wife Cindy; 3 daughters, Connie & Jerry Capps, Susan Lanham and Carol & Doug Chambless; Special granddaughter Tricia, 3 brothers, Ralph & wife Ann, Harry & wife Patricia and Ray & wife Minnie; 3 sisters, Mary Ann & Charles Clayton, Bertha & Billy Champion and Jeannette; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all, Daddy we will miss you. Obituary: Walter William Stanavage, 94 of Beverly Hills, Florida and formerly of Glastonbury, CT died on , 19, 2010 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. He was born , 19, 1916 in Forest City, Pennsylvania to Frank and Magdalen (Rakauskas) Stanavage. He retired from Colts Firearms Gun Manufacturing as a tool crib attendent in 1982 in Hartford, CT. He was also, employed at Olivetti Underwood Corporation in Hartford, CT and Combustion Engineering in Bloomfield, CT. Walter leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Gilberte (Lareau) Stanavage, three daughters, Darlene (Howard) OConnell of Glastonbury, CT, Susan (Samuel) Aglio of Beverly Hills, Florida and Bettina (Gary) Marks of Beverly Hills, Florida. He also, leaves behind five grandchildren, Lisa (William) Hubbard of Ellington, CT, Maureen (Brandt) Nelson of Plainville, CT, Michael (Danielle) OConnell of Glastonbury, CT, Angela (Craig) Herold of Dublin, PA and Andrea Marks of Gainesville, Florida and ten great grandchildren. Walter was preceded in death by his brothers, Adolph, Daniel, Russell, Joseph and Benedict Stanavage. Walter was a WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946 as a staff sergeant. He was a Purple Heart recipient and a member of the VFW Post #10087 in Beverly Hills, the Knights of Columbus and the Beverly Hills Fishing Club. Visitation, , 22, 2010 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Fero with Mass following at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace. Interment at Fero Memorial Gardens.
