Obituary: Squires, William L. Jr. 80 of Homosassa entered into rest on 4, 2015. He was born 12, 1935 in New York City the son of the late William L. Sr. and Laura Truscott Squires. William was a retired Technical Instructor with the United States Air Force serving for 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife Helga at home, daughter Lynda and her husband Robert Warner of Southlake, TX, 2 sisters Erna and her husband Steve Shenk of Orlando and Susan and her husband Steve Kovas of TN, 2 grandchildren Ana and Erica Warner. Obituary: Squires, Virginia Ruth, 90 was born in Chicago, 19,1924 to George and Viola Squires. Her family moved to New York where she later worked for the Army Air Corps during World War II. She moved to Ft Lauderdale, FL in 1960 and retired from a career at the Social Security Administration. Virginia moved to Palm Beach Gardens in 1996 with family. She continued traveling, a lifelong passion, enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her beloved cats. Virginia died peacefully surrounded by family on 25, 2015 in hospice care. She is survived by her sister Gladys M. Hall and Harry W. Hall (deceased), her sister in law Betty Squires and brother Donald Squires (deceased), her nieces and nephews, Barbara and Ron White, Doug and Cassie Hall, Lynn Squires and Kevin Webster, Karen Squires and Randy Stegen, Nancy and Philippe Raynaud, her great nieces and nephews, Peyton, Carson, Ashley, Megan, Daisy, Jacob, Chloe and Camille. Obituary: Ronald F. Ronnie Squires, of Hollywood, FL, formerly of Melrose, died at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Oct. 15, 2016 at the age of 74. Ronnie was born in Boston, raised in Cambridge & Somerville and attended Somerville Schools. He resided in Melrose for 26 years and the past 15 years in Florida. Ronnie worked as a Security Guard for Textron in Everett for over 20 years before his retirement at the age of 62. He enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Hawaii, Cape Cod, Mt Washington, NH and California. Ronnie was kind, respectful, very independent and devoted to his mother, siblings and family. Ronnie was the devoted son of the late Albert J. & Catherine A. (Dooley) Squires. Caring brother of Helen T. Harris & her late husband William of Stoneham, Sheila LaRocque & her husband Richard, Laurence S. Squires & his wife Kathy, all of Peabody and the late Albert J. Squires, William J. Squires and James P. Squires. Godfather of Michelle Connolly & her husband Christopher of Peabody. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately , 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on , Oct. 18th from 4:00-7:00 PM. A Service will be held at the Gately on , Oct. 19th at 12:00 PM. She leaves behind her daughters, Carolyn Wood and Beverly Hoffman-Gallo both of Naples, Florida, 3 step-children, thirteen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
