Obituary: Jonathan T. Snow, 41 of Crystal River, died 12, 2017. He was born to parents Robert Bob and Linda (Sullivan) Snow. Jonathan worked most of his adult life as a heavy equipment operator. Jonathan loved all things outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing or going to the beach with his children. He also loved to build things and go trail riding. He was a coach of several youth sports teams and a member of the F.F.A. at Crystal River High School for many years. Jonathan is predeceased by his father Robert Bob Snow. He is survived by his mother Linda G. Snow of Dunnellon, FL; children Dylan R. Snow of Inverness FL, Trent L. and Brooke A. Snow of Crystal River, FL and their brother Gavin T. Brown; brothers Brian Snow of Crystal River, FL, Chris Snow of Inverness, FL and Tim Snow of St. Thomas, USVI; sister Roberta (BJ) Snow-Lakatis and nieces and nephews. Obituary: John Jack Thomas Snow, 74, of Bradenton, FL passed away 28, 2015. He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Lois Kreucher Snow. Born 10, 1941, in Flint Michigan, he was a son of the late Emil and Christine Hughes Snow. He retired from the Luke M. Powers High School, in Flint, MI, as a golf coach, science and religion teacher. He also worked with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and other youth organizations within the Catholic Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing having worked with the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources. Survivors also include 5 children, Mary Margaret (Pam Kurtz) Snow of Henderson, MI; Christine (Mark) Tew, of Morganton, NC; Timothy (Nicki) Snow, of Sarasota, FL; Patrick (Nicole Gabriel) Snow, of Wailuku, HI; Molly (Ben) Shumway, of Seattle, WA; siblings Mary Ann (Brent) Outwater, of Winchester, MA; Thomas (Sue) Snow, of Toledo, OH; Madelyn (Gary) Rigiel, of Flushing, MI; Jim (Michelle) Snow, of Flushing, MI; and 11 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on , 31st from 6 - 8pm at Manasota , 1221 53rd Ave E. Bradenton, FL 34203. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on , 1st at 10am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 833 Magellan Dr, Sarasota, FL 34243. A memorial service will also be held in Flint, MI at a later date. Obituary: John Wesley Snow, M.D. died peacefully in his sleep 11, 2011 with his wife of 58 years, Patricia by his side. He was 82. Dr. Snow was a gifted surgeon, technically adept, artistically creative and uniquely innovative. Dr. Snow started his hand and reconstructive plastic surgery practice in 1964. He was the first hand surgeon in Jacksonville, then a new surgical specialty. During his 30-year practice, his innovative surgical procedures improved the lives of thousands of people who had been severely injured. He also trained many other doctors. During his medical career he published 47 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and created a number of innovative medical procedures which still bear his name. The son of Dr. Thomas Austin Snow and Maribel Haynie Snow, and the brother of Jane Snow Letchworth, Dr. Snow grew up in Gainesville, Florida., and attended Baylor Military Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee. While in high school, he won a Golden Gloves boxing championship. He graduated from Duke University in 1951. While at Duke he excelled in scholastics; he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity; and he was a Duke Blue Devil cheerleader. Dr. Snow continued his education at Duke Medical School, graduating in 1955. He met his wife Patricia at Duke and married her in 1953. completing medical school, he served in the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of captain. He then completed his medical residencies in Gainesville, Salt Lake City, and New York City. Dr. Snow was also an accomplished artist. His sketches, drawings, and paintings were everywhere- in his scientific articles, in his patients files, and on the walls of his office. He also won awards for his beautiful bronze sculptures. Dr. Snow was an avid outdoorsman, and a long-time member of the International Safari Club. He is survived by his wife Patricia Dobson Snow, his five children: Thomas Snow, John Snow, Jr., and Heather Snow Foster, of Jacksonville; Leslie Snow, of Peachland, NC; Stefanie Snow, of Bellevue, WA; five grandchildren; and his sister, Jane Snow Letchworth, of Sarasota, Fla. He will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens , 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
