Obituary: The family of Albert B. Skievaski, El Tigre (CMsgt. Ret.) feels blessed to announce that our Chief has rejoined his wife Hopie Jayne after a five year separation. His break from honey dos is over because we are sure Mom has a long list of things for him to do in the hereafter. Dad was a member of the Greatest generation and began his service to his country as a nineteen year old second lieutenant in the Guerilla forces fighting the Japanese in the Philippines. the war Dad continued his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps and then the U.S.A.F until his retirement in 1976. Besides WWII, Dad also served in the Korean Conflict and spent two tours in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star. retirement Dad obtained his Bachelors Degree from U.W.F. and taught in the Okaloosa School System. Dad is survived by the following loving children and grandchildren: Amy Jo (John), Kim (Janice), Belena (Jeff) and Pilar and her husband Richard, who provided Dad with great love and care during his final years. He also leaves his Grandchildren, Genevieve (Doug), Dylan (Alicia), Felix (Elizabeth) and great-grandson Everett. Dad also leaves behind three surviving siblings and countless nephews and nieces. Dad also had many friends who will remember his ready laugh, sense of humor and generosity. We wish to thank Emerald Coast Hospice and their wonderful staff for the great care they provided Dad. Dads ashes will be joined with the love of his life and they will be interned together at Barrancas National in a private ceremony with full military honors. Anyone desiring to send flowers should instead buy them for a loved one to enjoy in the memory of a good man. his family Dad had a great passion and love for Amateur Radio and was one of the earliest Ham Radio Operators in the area so it is with great sadness, but also with great pride that we tell the world that W4SYP has signed off for the last time. Obituary: SKIERA, Nancy A., 80, of Largo, Florida, passed away , 2, 2015 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. Nancy was born 10, 1934 in Lincoln, Rhode Island, the daughter of William and Violet (Cox) Cornell. She was a horticulturist for a wholesale floral nursery and a member of Oak Ridge Wesleyan Church in Largo, FL. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Cornell. Survivors include a son, Michael G. Skiera and his wife, Ann; daughters, Kathy A. Rudolph and her husband, Frank, and Maureen M. Sexton and her husband, James; sisters, Dorothy DeFusco and Maureen McInnes; grandchildren, Laura Rudolph, Megan Wagner, Kyle Skiera, Trevor Skiera, Jordan Skiera, Molly Sexton, Tammy Hollenbeck, and Wendy Sanchez; and great grandsons, Logan Rudolph and Dominic Kreiter.
