Obituary: James "Jim" Joseph Siler, age 71, passed away on 2, 2011 in Delray Beach, FL. He was born on 16, 1940 in Red Rock, OK to Charley Newton Siler and Hazel Kidd. He was married to Robbie Louan Jameson on 2, 1959 in Dinuba, CA. James mother passed away when he was 10 days old and his grandparents, Iva and Newton Siler raised him. moved from OK to Dinuba, CA when he was 4 years old. He has been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1967. He and his wife were sealed in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple. As a member of the LDS Church, he served in several positions including being called as the first Bishop in the state of Arkansas by Harold B. Lee. He was a Seminary teacher for 20+ years off and on and a Temple worker for 9 years serving in Dallas TX, St. Louis MO and Oklahoma City, OK. He also served as a sealer in the OKC Temple. He was in the U. S. Coast Guard for 6 years in Alameda, CA. He is survived by his wife, Robbie; son: Dennis James of Van Buren, AR; daughter: Esther Luanna Colbert of Delray Beach, FL; son: G.
