Obituary: Robert S. Shep Sheppard, 90 Barber Eagle Lake-Robert S. Shep Sheppard, age 90, of Eagle Lake, FL passed away , 23, 2014 due to natural causes. He was born May 2, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of Marion Sheppard and Edna Calhoun Sheppard. He was owner/operator of Sheps Barber Shop in Eagle Lake for 43 years. He also was owner of Sheppards Mobile Park in Wahneta. Shep was a member of Inwood Baptist Church and was a founding member of the Deaf Chapel. He was an avid Deer hunter and loved hunting with his sons and grandsons. In addition to his parents, Shep was preceded in death by three wives: Artura Sanford Sheppard, Marjorie Boggs Sheppard and Ommie Cumbie Sheppard. He is survived by his sons: Stephen Sheppard and Patrick Sheppard (Robin), daughters: Brenda Mobley (Dick) and Yvonne Kelsey (Larry) , nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Visitation is , 30, 2014 from 10-11am with services at 11am, both at Ott-Laughlin , Winter Haven. A reception will follow. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.ott-laughlin.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Inwood Baptist Deaf Chapel. |

Obituary: Patricia Ann Sheppard, 74, of Eustis, Florida, passed away peacefully 7, 2017. She was born in Johnstown, New York on 23, 1942. living in Alaska and Maryland with her husband, William Sheppard, Pat and Bill settled in Miami, where they raised their two daughters. Pat was a high school math teacher for Gulliver Schools in Miami, before retiring in Eustis. Everyone knows Pat had a passion for knitting, making special things for those she loved. She is survived by her two daughters: Kathleen Curry (Paul) of Atlanta, and Erika Vladika (Michael) of Deltona. She also has three beautiful granddaughters that love her dearly: Vivian Curry, and Victoria and Veronica Vladika. Kathleen and Erika ask that in lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood and platelets in their mother's memory. A celebration of Pat will be held at 11 a.m. on , 10 at Baldwin Fairchild at 994 E. Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida, 32701. The family ask that everyone wear green, to celebrate "St. Patty," and Pat's most favorite holiday. A reception will follow the service and everyone is welcome. |
