Obituary: Seeton, Ann Cecilia (Pichman) 93, of St. Petersburg, died , 13, 2015 of complications of old age at Suncoast Hospice’s South Pinellas . Born 22, 1921 at 8:00pm, the only child of Cyril Pichman and Anne Gaber who immigrated to the U.S. from Yugoslavia, now known as Slovenia. She has been a member of the Western Slavonic Assoc. Lodge #33 for 70 years. Her father was a tool & die maker and her mother worked in a hat factory. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William (Bill) Seeton, her daughter Debra, her son David and her grandson William Burrel. She is survived by her son Dennis Seeton (Edie) of Wesley Chapel FL, her daughter Denise Harrison (George) of St. Petersburg FL, her son-in-law Leonard Long of Kenosha, WI and her daughter-in-law Ethel Seeton of Fairplay, S.C.; 9 grandchildren: Michael, Tony, Kenny, (twins) Brett & Danielle, (twins) Quincy & Kyle, Alexis, and (twin to William Burrel) Devlin; 13 great grandchildren: Joshua, Kayla, Chrysta, Alicia, David, Kellie, McKayla, Noah, Joshua, Jordan, and Joey, and (twins) Wesley & Creighton; and 1 great-great grandchild: Dominic. Ann attended St. Stephens Grade School, Harrison High, Northwestern University & Jones Commercial Vocational Institute. Born in Chicago, Ill, she came here in 1972 with her husband & children from Portage, Michigan to open a fast food & ice cream shop called Mr. Swiss in Pinellas Park. She helped run several businesses with her husband and held a variety of positions during her lifetime. She volunteered in Cook hospital and prisons, introduced foreign students at Northwestern & Loyola Universities to the suburbs of Chicago for the Archdiocese & worked as a leader in Scouting. She volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul (SVDP) Society, The SPCA & Friends of Strays, and Bay Pines Veteran Hospital for 9 years, 3 on the cancer wards as she was a cancer survivor. She enjoyed collecting coins, stamps and soil samples from all over the U.S. and the world. She was a rock, shell and fossil hunter and belonged to several clubs. She was very artistic and did color pencil, chalk & oil pastel drawings and acrylic paintings. Ann enjoyed nature, gardening and was an animal lover, especially birds and ducks for whom she made a home in her yard. A devout Catholic her whole life, she was locally a member of the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle for 28 years and then Holy Cross for the last 16 years. Cremation and inurnment at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater for family only. Services will be held at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in Our Lady’s Chapel on , 24, 2015. We welcome you to attend any or all of the following: The rosary at 9:30am, a funeral mass at 10:00am. Following the mass at 11:15am, in the parish center, will be a "Celebration of Life" and reception. Obituary: Chandrawati Seet, known to most of her family as Baby died in Orlando Florida on 5th 2015. She was 77 years old. She was born in Guyana on 28, 1937 to the late Lil Money and Ramlakhan. She was married to her beloved late husband Aaron Seet. She is survived by her five children, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her children are Sandra, Suren, Suraj, Suresh and Neil. Her twelve grandchildren are Danny, Rasho, Roy, Christopher, Kevin, Anthony, Ashley, Aaron, Erika, Ethyn, Braedan and Lauryn. Her five great grandchildren are Daniel, Keshawn, Sonya, Matthew and Karina. In death she is also preceded by her three sisters and one brother, Irene, Prundai, Rajdai and Balo. There are countless things we can say to honor her memory but there is not enough time for it all. Our time with her was limited and her beautiful soul was needed in a better place. She touched anyone who met her and left a lasting impression on us all. We love her dearly and she will be truly missed. |
