Obituary: Carolyn Adelaide Sedacca, 82, of Naples, FL, formerly Boynton Beach, FL, passed away May 26th, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on 26th, 1935. Carolyn graduated from the Academy of St. Joseph in Brentwood, NY and received a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from St. Jospehs for Women in 1956. Carolyn is the beloved wife of the late Murray Sedacca with whom she shared 40 beautiful years. Carolyn had a 32 year career as a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten teacher for the New York City public school system, where she taught two generations in the same classroom. She is survived by her beautiful daughter Carolyn McDonough Weinand (Jack Minutella), two loving grandchildren, Carson Weinand and Mariel Weinand, all of Naples, FL, her brother Joseph Black Jr., Milton, FL, and very dear friends MaryAnne Nielander, Glenn Scharfenorth, Steven Bowles, Jonathan Levine, Kathy Kain. Carolyn loved socializing, shopping, crossword puzzles, organizing get-togethers, dining out, and always making people feel loved and special. Visitation is , 3rd from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM with a Catholic service following at 11:00AM at Hodges at Naples Memorial Gardens.
