Obituary: Mildred Audrey Schinlever died peacefully at 86 years old surrounded by love on May 13, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is survived by her close loving extended family who knew her affectionately as Audie. Born on 9, 1928 to George and Mildred Schinlever in Cincinnati, Ohio, Audrey was the second to youngest of her three sisters, all of whom are now predeceased. Audrey attended Christ Hospital School of in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1947 to 1950 where she earned her diploma as a Registered Nurse. Shortly after this she began work at the VA Hospital in Dayton, Ohio as an operating room nurse. Not long after she returned to Christ Hospital to continue working in the operating room. Her passion for the operating room and her work there was unrivaled. In 1958 she moved to Florida to be closer to family and begun to work at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach. She remained working in the operating room for over twenty years as an operating room nurse and eventually as a supervisor. Audrey was an avid baseball fan, her team was the Cincinnati Reds and she rarely ever missed a game whether it was on TV or on the radio. Audrey was a caring person and she was always very kind and giving to everyone that she met. She touched many lives through her work and had many close friends during her lifetime. Audrey will be missed, but she will live on in our memories, promoting the hope and kindness that she thrived on in this lifetime amongst those who knew her best. |

Obituary: SCHINDLER, Thomas Edward, 89 of Largo, FL passed away on 7, 2015. Tom was born on 1, 1925 in Clark, New Jersey to the late Leon & Elizabeth (Tuthill) Schindler. He lived on a farm until he joined the US Navy in 1942. Tom served during WWII where he earned several medals including two Purple Hearts, the American Campaign Medal for WWII, a Good Conduct and Prisoner of War medals. leaving the Navy in 1946 he began a long and fruitful career at New Jersey Bell from which he retired in 1990. Tom was also a Captain of the Clark Volunteer Fire Department for many years. His favorite past time was spending time with his family on their many wonderful vacations to Walt Disney World. Tom married the love of his life Agnes (Gallagher) Schindler on 27, 1968 and she survives. Also surviving are his children, a son Thomas E Schindler, Jr. & daughter Kelly (Jason) Seltzer and five grandchildren Amber, Daniel, Riley, Hannah and Liam. Tom was predeceased by his two brothers Richard and Harry Schindler. A Memorial Service will be held on , 13, 2015 at 10 am at St Jerome Catholic Church in Largo.
