Obituary: Bagga (pronounced Bah-ka) Sampson graduated to Heaven on 15, 2015, at the age of 91. Bagga was born the fifth of nine children in sheep country on the southern coast of Iceland in 1924. She lived a very long, fruitful, and productive life. Having an adventurous nature, she came to the U.S. after the end of WWII. Bagga was a loving, beautiful, energetic, passionate and talented woman. She had extraordinary gifts in sewing, knitting, crochet, china painting and banner creations, just to mention a few. If all the stitches she sewed were to be measured they would surely reach around the world more than a few times! She learned to sew as a child without patterns. She made the yarn for her knitting on a spinning wheel with wool from the family's sheep. She was known to grieve over any one day that she did not produce something, as she truly felt that she had wasted a day. She passionately loved her family and friends. If you became her friend, you were her friend for life. In 1973, her belief in God became a reality when her heart grasped the understanding of allowing Jesus into her heart to become her Savior. This was a decision that she never regretted. She was a faithful member and attendee of Calvary Assembly of God in Orlando for forty years. Bagga was survived by her five children: Linda Lytle Smith, Brian Gibson, Barbara Kelly, Barre Gibson, and Bonny Brewer; two step-children: Linda Parsons and David Gibson; eleven grandchildren: Teresa Smith, Natalie Gregory, Erin Allport, Allen Gibson, Kristin Mattson, Kourtney Conway, Kyle Kelly, Ryan Gibson, Rachel Cerkez, Rebecca Gibson, and Ashley Brewer; nine great-grandchildren: Halie, Emily & James Smith, Abigail & Ava Gregory, Lincoln and Lyla Allport, Eleanor Gibson and Cameron Conway; She did her utmost to develop a close and loving relationship with each and every one and she was greatly loved in return. Obituary: George Packer Sampson, 95, of Clearwater Beach, passed away 17, 2010. Mr. Sampson was born in Birdsboro, PA Sept. 2, 1915. Following graduation from Allentown Prep School in 1936, he moved to Washington, DC to attend George Washington University and work at the home office of Acacia Mutual Life Insurance , where he became Vice President of Marketing. During the 20 years at Acacia, he served in the Army Air Corp, Class 43-D and retired from the USAF Reserve after 33 years, 2, 1975 as Lt. Colonel. In 1944, Mr. Sampson attended the Harvard University Graduate School of Business and is also a graduate of the Industrial of the Armed Forces. In 1954 he established the George P. Sampson Agency, Inc. in Washington, DC, which is still operating today. A life member of the Air Force Assoc., a 25 year member of the Metropolitan Washington Board of Trade, life member of the Retired Officers Assoc., Trail Blazer National Assoc. of Underwriters, President of DC - Rock Creek Lions Club, Post Commander American Legion DC Post 59, Clearwater Chapter, S.A.R. 50 year member, VFW Post, Oceanview, DE, Boling Field Officers Club, DC, MacDill Air Force Officers Club, Belleair Country Club, life member of Army-Navy Country Club, Arlington, VA, and former member Kenwood Country Club, Bethesda, MD. Mr. Sampson was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Largo. Mr. Sampson is survived by his wife, Dorie; 4 children, George P. Sampson, III of Allentown, PA; Robert B. Sampson of Merritt Island, FL; Joan S. Cupic of Houston, TX; James T. Sampson of Mt.
