Obituary: Llewellyn Garnet Noel Sadler was removed from our physical presence , 8, 2014. She will forever be a piece of our own souls. Born in St. Petersburg, FL, 23, 1936, Llewellyn relocated to the Jacksonville area with her family when she was a youth, graduating from Landon High 1954. She didn’t skip a beat graduating from University of Florida in 1958 with a degree in Education. She was a hard worker from the start, moving from college to marriage just weeks before starting her first teaching position in Winter Haven, FL. She and husband, Tom, returned to Jacksonville within a year as their family was on its way. Llewellyn was a die-hard professional and returned to the classroom in the mid 60’s including a position at the Loretto Elementary and an administrative position with Grace Chapel Episcopal. A few years following the birth of her last child she returned to work at Pine Forest 5th/6th grade and began working on her master’s degree at UNF. Completing her master’s in spring of ’77 she was quickly chosen to be Assistant Principal at The Beaches 6th Grade , in 1980 received her first Principal assignment at Susie Tolbert 6th Grade . Her professionalism and dedication to her staff and students made her what many might call a “Turn Around Principal” as superintendents knew they could depend on her to improve schools and her teachers knew she was tough, but always a friend. She took over Love Grove Elementary in the mid 80’s and after over a decade there was moved to Holiday Hill in 1997 from where she retired in 1999. Well, Llewellyn couldn’t let go that easily and worked as a part time mentor via a UNF program for the next few years. Amidst her teaching responsibilities, and raising five children, she was an active member of Christ’s Church (formerly Mandarin Christian), sang in the choir, assisted on various church projects over the years, volunteered as a “Candy Striper”, was an avid reader, kept herself healthy, and made sure her family was always together whenever possible. If you ask any of her children they will say her stubbornness helped make them the determined workers they are today. Thankfully she never gave up on anything and always stood on her commitment to God and His Word as the source of your strength! She was active and independent to the very last moment; always beautifully put together no matter what she was doing, even if only to stay home and tend to her husband’s needs. Llew devoted the last 8 years of her life to the needs of others making sure her husband and disabled daughter (Mary) received the greatest of care and attention. Llewellyn is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas J. Sadler, Jr.; children, Victoria Sadler (Cary), James Sadler, Elizabeth Berg (Dennis), Margaret MacManus, and preceded in death by daughter, Mary Spell. She leaves her legacy with seven grandchildren, Emily Spell, Katherine Berg, Carol Berg, Adam MacManus, Claira Berg, Karina Sadler-Sfikas and Marshall Sadler; two great-grandchildren Garrett and Aubrey Blanchette. The family is inviting all who wish to attend a viewing on , 13, 2014, at Hardage - Giddens of Mandarin. Obituary: Jordan Conor Sadler, 18, of Fort Myers, FL , went home to heaven unexpectedly on , 14, 2014, along with his two best friends, Jonathan Valentin and Joseph Marcelak, much to the sorrow of family and friends. Born in Ft. Myers 10, 1995 to Rick and Lisa (Gentzler) Sadler, Jordan had just graduated last month from Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers. Jordan was an amazing young man who had a great faith in God, and expressed it on a daily basis by how he lived his life and through his kind heart and gentle spirit. He lit up any room he was in. Some of his favorite past times include collecting old keys, playing video games, bike riding, hanging out with his friends and family, and anything to do with computers. He was excited about his future and had planned to pursue a major in computer engineering. Jordan will be deeply missed by his father Rick, mother Lisa, brother Christian, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, who loved him dearly. A joint Memorial Service for Jordan and his best friend Jon will be held this , 20th at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God, 4701 Summerlin Road in Fort Myers. The Sadler family is offering thanks to the entire community, the students and faculty at ECS, and to all family and friends who have shown such great support through their prayers and expressions of love at this time of great loss.
