Obituary: John Joseph Sabel, 66, of Stuart passed away , 16, 2015 at Treasure Coast Hospice. Born 9, 1948 in New York, NY, John was the son of James and Dorothy (nee Lannon) Sabel. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. John retired from property management, moving to Stuart two years ago from West Keansburg, NJ. He attended Coastal Life Church, was a former member of the VFW. John had a strong work ethic; he enjoyed working both on the job and around the home. Surviving are his loving wife, Mary D. Obituary: Brian Lee Sabean, 69, passed from this earth to life eternal (1 Corinthians 15) on 28th. He was rarely sick until being diagnosed with bile duct cancer in May 2015. Brian was born in St. Paul, MN on 31, 1948 to Jeremiah and Charline Sabean. He grew up in Holland Patent, NY. Brian married the love of his life, Marilyn Hooks on May 2, 1970. He is survived by Marilyn and their three sons, Dan (Lisa), Jeff (Beckey), David (Andrea), and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Richard Forsti (Rosemary) and a sister, Pamela Morse (Alvin). Brian worked as an accountant for most of his 47 year career. He worked for GE, and was transferred to Ft. Myers in 1985. He worked for US /Lennar s and the Florida Department of Revenue before retiring in 2014. Brian grew up in church but trusted Christ as his Lord and Savior from his sin (John 3) in 1972. Brian served Him well until the end. Visitation will be held at Hodges at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Rd 82, Ft. Myers, FL 33913 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on 3rd, 2017. A memorial service will be held at Daniels Road Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on 6th, 2017. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Daniels Road Baptist Church 5878 Daniels Pkwy, Ft. Myers, FL 33912. Condolences may be left online at www.LeeMemorialPark.com. are under the direction of Hodges at Lee Memorial Park. |
