Obituary: MIRA MESA - - John passed suddenly, but peacefully at sleep in him home from a heart attack, on , May 26, 2010. John was born on 30, 1944, in Watsonville, CA and moved to San Diego a few years later, with his Mother Caroline Bouronill and Nana Annie Bouronill. Shortly after his move to San Diego Johns mother married Ross Reyman and this began the life of John Paul Reyman that we all know and love. John grew up in the community of North Park in San Diego. His first residence is still unchanged, standing directly across the street from his grade school, St. Patricks, on 30th Street. At some point during Johns adolescence he attended military school for a time, there is still some debate if this experiment worked to mold him into a proper young man or simply fueled his creativity and at times whacky adolescent sense of humor! The Reyman family then moved to Montclair St. in North Park, this home is still apart of the Reyman family. Johns Brother Dave currently resides in the home. John graduated from St. ine High School, in 1962. He attended San Diego State University. Then John met Darlene in 1969, they got married 28, 1969 in San Diego, at St. ines in North Park. John and Darlene purchased their Mira Mesa home back in 1970. raised all three of their children (Garrett, Steve, Phill) at this home. Many stories and parties can be traced back to this home and neighborhood. John was an accomplished portrait photographer through his business of Reyman Photography for the past 35 years. Reyman Photography was started in 1950 with Johns father, Ross, as a small school photography business which has now become one of the premier portrait studios in San Diego . John captured and created thousands of memories for the students in the San Diego community. Johns passion in life was to create a laugh, create a memory, tell a story, and if you were lucky enough to spend an evening with him you became part of his next story. Life was lived at his pace and with his passion. John was preceded in death by his father, Ross Reyman, and his mother, Carolyn Reyman. He is survived by his wife of over 41 years, Darlene Elinore Reyman and their children and grandchildren, Garrett Lee Reyman and his wife, Tiffany Yoshi Reyman and their child, Charlotte Setsuyo Reyman, of Woodland Hills, CA., Stephen Edward Reyman of Prescott Valley, AZ., and Phillip Evan Reyman of San Diego, CA. And Johns brother, David Reyman of San Diego. A private memorial service will be held off the coast of San Diego. A reception will take place at the Reyman Family home in Mira Mesa, at 1:30 pm on , 5, 2010. The address is: 10295 Covina Ct. San Diego, Ca 92126 Attire is very casual. shorts, hawaiian shirt and flip flops would be very appropiate. John never liked funerals nor thought of mourning the passing of a loved one. BUT HE ALWAYS LOVED A GOOD PARTY!!! So we ask that everyone celebrate your memories of him and share your funny stories. John liked to make people laugh and loved being the goofy one, lets have a good time and laugh! In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to The Museum of Photographic Arts. |

Obituary: Darlene Elinore (Epperson) Reyman 1947 - 2012 Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Darlene Elinore (Epperson) Reyman passed away on , 12, 2012 at her home in Mira Mesa, from complications associated with MS. She was born 13, 1947 at the Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton, CA. She attended South Oceanside Elementary School, Jefferson Middle School, and graduated in 1965 from Oceanside High School. She graduated from Mira Costa in 1967. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from San Diego State University in 1971. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Reyman, her parents, Charles Guy and Irene Veronica Epperson and brother, Lee Earl Epperson. She is survived by her sons, Garrett Reyman and his wife, Tiffany, and their two daughters of Woodland Hills, CA. Stephen Reyman of Prescott, AZ. And Phillip Reyman of San Diego, CA. Brother, Dave E. Epperson and Sisters, Loreen Epperson Wilson and Charlene Epperson Myers. Darlene was very involved with Brownies and Girl Scouts in her youth. She also joined Jobs Daughters in 1960, later becoming a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Darlenes careers saw her work at Solar Federal Credit Union, Zales Jewelers and later owning and operating Reyman Photography with her late husband. A private family service will be held at sea with a public Celebration of Life being held at her home following the service.
