Obituary: Lupe Tommy Ramirez Jr. 1968-2016 Lupe Ramirez, Jr., 48, of Stockton, CA passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 19, 2016. Lupe, aka Moonie, was born in Stockton on Jan. 18, 1968 to Christine Macato and Lupe Ramirez Sr., and eldest brother to Gabriel Ramirez. Lupe attended Edison High School, where he played football. He was also a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He was blessed with 3 children, Lupe III, D’Angelo, and Raquel Ramirez all of Stockton. He was also blessed with 3 grandchildren, Elia, Leo, and Logan Ramirez. We will sorely miss his humor, wit, kindness and strength, all of which, he ever lovingly, bestowed on us. Viewing will be on , Sept. 29 from 11am to 7 pm at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel. Additional viewing time is scheduled for , Sept. 30, 2016 from 11am-12:00pm followed by a Rosary Service at 12:15pm, and Mass at 1pm all at St. George Catholic Church. A Committal Service will follow at the San Joaquin Catholic . |

Obituary: Lupe Gloria Ramirez, 94, passed away in San Diego on Jan 4, 2016 She was born in San Diego on 11,1921. She lived in San Diego all her life, attended Memorial Jr. High School and graduated from San Diego High School the first San Diego High School called then " The Old Gray Castle". She had many Japanese-American friends, and worked as a teen at the original Japanese Tea Garden in Balboa Park behind the scenes before the war. She worked during World War II in the Aircraft industry and is part of the group of women called " Rosie the Riveter". Later she spent 26 years as an Employment Developer for the Cal State Dept of Employment, retiring in 1993. She worked helping Vietnamese refugees find employment as part of her position, and learned appreciation of their culture. Lupe practiced and was devoted to the Roman Catholic faith. Lupe's social life as a young mother and part of a large extended Martinez family, centered around volunteering in church activities such as " fiestas" at St. Jude Shrine of the West and St. Jude Academy. Upon retirement Lupe volunteered at the St. Jude 's parish office using her bilingual skills. Survivors include: husband, Albert. ; daughters Esther Salazar (Lucian) of San Diego, Juanita Edwards (Thomas) of San Diego, Monica DeGrandis (William) of Great Falls, VA, Maria Luisa Moriarity (Joseph) of Forest Lake, MN, brother Ricardo Martinez (Marielle) of Vista CA, and grandchildren Teresa Salazar and Paul-Michael Edwards. Lupe is preceded in death by her parents Juanita Aguilera Martinez and Cesario Martinez of Guanajuato, Mexico; brothers Anthony Martinez, Martin Martinez, Sr., sisters; Carmen Martinez,and Nellie Martinez. Obituary: On , 14, 2016 Luis L. Ramirez Jr. unexpectedly passed away in Watsonville. He was 33. Our Hero Always said family and loyalty first. Luis had a great passion for working out and training, proudly looking forward to becoming a professional in the near future. He was a full pledge Chiefs fan. He was always the life of the party with a great sense of humor. Luis had knowledge studying Philosophy back to ancient times of hindy. He loved the beach, cooking, walks, picking flowers, rock collecting and going to the park. Always had a shoulder to lean on with big Teddy Bear hugs and long talks. He will be greatly missed by many and never ever forgotten. Luis is survived by his beloved daughter; Destiny Ramirez and his mother, Marilyn Burns. He is also survived by his siblings; Jonathan Cruz, Cody Burns, Aidan and Isaiah Ramirez and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his father; Luis Ramirez and grandparents; ina, Trinidad Ramirez, Mary Jo and Hoyt Burns. Visitation services will be held on , 10, 2016 from 5-9 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.
