Sally Irene was born the daughter of Arnold and Gertrude (Schlueter) Rueckert on 26, 1943 in Portage, WI. She was a 1961 graduate of Portage High School. Sally was married to James O. Zuelsdorf on 16, 1991 in au, WI. She was employed with the Weyenberg Shoe Factory both in Portage and Beaver Dam for many years. She also attended Kettle Moraine Technical where she received her AODA counselor certification. wards, she was employed as a drug and alcohol counselor with the St. Claire in Baraboo, WI for 14 years until her retirement in 2006. Sally was a cancer survivor and a seven year dialysis veteran. She was an A.A. member since 1979. Sally was also a member of the Dodge Antique Power Club. She was an animal lover. Sally was an excellent role model and an inspiration, touching the hearts of many. She was unwavering in her faith and good spirit; truly the definition of love. Sally is survived by her husband, James of Beaver Dam; her children: Dean (Flora) Shaw of Endeavor, WI, Dawn Shaw of au, Gary (Lisa) Zuelsdorf of Beaver Dam, Cindy (special friend Joe Whitman) Zuelsdorf of Waupun, and Scott Zuelsdorf of Beaver Dam; her sister, Louise (special friend Ray) Gwinn of Wisconsin Rapids; 10 grandchildren: Joey (Jenny), Nick (Savannah), Kat, Cody, Robert, Crystal (Aaron), Amber (special friend Shawn), Lucas, Travis, and Alison; 8 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Obituary: Jack L. Rueckert, age 75, passed away on , 9, 2010 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital. The memorial gathering will be at Murray in Beaver Dam on , 13, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home on at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Eileen Kuehnl officiating. The John E. Miller American Legion Post #146 will present military honors at the funeral home following the service. Jack Lester Rueckert was born on 4, 1934 to Edwin and Della (Kunz) Rueckert in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1953, and then served in the US National Guard, Army, and retired from the Army Reserve. While in the Army, Jack was a Golden Glove Boxer. He was united in marriage with Donna Gunkle, in 1957, and with Mary Justman-Bath, in 1967. Jack drove truck for Stokley in South Beaver Dam, then worked for Monarch Range for 32 years. He later worked for Metal Fab until they ceased operations, followed by a few years working for Mayville Metal until his retirement in 1997. Jack was a member of several associations that included, the Beaver Dam Lake Association, Beaver Dam Wings Over Wisconsin, Lost Lake Improvement Association, and Dodge Antique Power Club. He had a love for animals of all types, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed repairing small engines. Survivors are his children, Robert J. (Laura) Rueckert, Steven Rueckert, David (Janet) Rueckert, Jeri Sobrilsky, Kim (Rick) Drzonek, all of Beaver Dam, and Jack (Lynn) Rueckert of Kewaunee, four step daughters, Vera (Ron) Kittleson, Mary, Lori, and Tammy,14 grandchildren, seven, great grandchildren, his sister and brothers, Ruth (Werner) Schmid, of Beaver Dam, Gene Rueckert, of Rolling Prairie, and Denny (special friend, Dorothy Prest) Rueckert, of Beaver Dam, a sister-in-law, Tomi Rueckert, of CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ruecker passed away peacefully at her home in Theresa on 10th surrounded by her husband and other family members. Sandy was born to George M. and Helen Marie (Funk) Coulter on 29, 1940 in the Town of Wayne. She attended Mullen School, Columbus School, Campbellsport Junior and Senior High Schools. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1963. graduation, she joined the staff at St. Agnes Hospital Laboratory. Sandy worked in various areas of the laboratory before becoming Section Chief of Immunohematology. As Section Chief, she ran the blood bank and assisted in training Medical Technology students for their degrees in the field of Medical Technology. Sandy left St. Agnes Hospital in 1990 and went to work at St. Josephs Community Hospital (now part of Synergy Systems) and served in the same capacity as she had at St. Agnes until her retirement in 2004. On 15, 1966 she was united in marriage with her best friend, James A. Ruecker. Throughout their marriage, Sandy and Jim enjoyed playing golf together, watching the Wisconsin sports teams games, traveling and an occasional trip to the casino. Sandy especially enjoyed reading and knitting and spending time with numerous nieces and nephews, including now second and third generations. Never having any family of their own she and Jim had the opportunity to enjoy relatives children. attending the UW until the time of her marriage, Sandy lived with her sister and brother-in-law (Marge and Myron Lamers) during which she considered Myron Lamers as her adopted dad and their children as little brothers and sisters. Therefore, she is survived by Myron Lamers of Lomira, Mark (Linda) of Franklin, Mike (Jeanne) of Beaver Dam, Mary (Dave) Tkach of Coon Rapids, MN, Stanley (Nancy) of Theresa, Stephanie (Dean) Buerger of Brownsville, Michelle (Jeff) Bloch of Brownsville, Ted of Olathe, KA, and Tim (Lynanne) of Theresa. Sandy is survived by her husband James; her real brothers and sisters- Bette (Ed) Quandt of Lomira, John (Patricia) of Kewaskum, Glen of au, Neil of Theresa, Gwen (Rich) Kallmann of Florence, and Paulette (Edgar) Coulter-Zeitler of Guam. Also surviving are her brother-in-law Ralph Ruecker of Theresa and sisters-in-law Pearl Dejanovich of Mayville, Mary Lou Zangl of Lomira, and (Robert) Zimmerman of Fond du Lac, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great, great-nieces and nephews. Sandy was proceeded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Marguerite Lamers and Enida Roth, and 1 brother Keith Coulter. Professional organizations that Sandy belonged to were ASCP, WAMT, and AABB. She was also very active in St. Mary/St. Theresa parishes serving as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Cup Minister, Council Secretary, and Trustee for St. Theresa parish and CCLT. Organizing class reunions for her Campbellsport High School class and her husbands Mayville High School class were fun things she enjoyed. The family will receive visitors and friends from 2:00 till 4:00 p.m. on , Sept. 15th at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Theresa followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and a meal. Inurnment will take place at St. Theresa Memorial Gardens for family members only. Services will be conducted by Rev. Father Dennis Budka. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or St. Theresa Educational Trust Fund. Obituary: Gerald Jerry Ruechel, 81, of Pulaski and Mesa, AZ, passed away , 2, 2017. He was born 4, 1936, son of the late Gordon and Ruby (Caelwaerts) Ruechel. Gerald is a member of St. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church, Flintville. Gerald graduated from Pulaski High School in 1954 and entered the US Air Force in , 1954 and served until , 1958. On 27, 1955 he was united in marriage to Betty Paczkowski. Gerald dairy farmed for many years and drove truck for Peters Concrete and w. He enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, and bowling. Gerald also enjoyed singing in a chorus in Arizona and listening to music. During his time in Arizona, he was depended upon to watch over other properties and maintain them while people traveled.
