Obituary: MR. ROGER DALE ROBINETTE Mr. Roger Dale Robinette, 64, of Tannersville VA, passed away , 21, 2017 at the home of his son in Johnson City, TN. Roger was born in Williamson, KY and the son of the late Howard Robinette and Una Frye Robinette. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Melissa Robinette. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ernestine Elkins Stalker. Roger was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and an avid outdoorsman. He was a 1971 graduate of Williamson High School. Roger was a member of the Tazewell Baptist Church and Main Street Christian Church in Saltville, VA. He worked for Simmons & Rand and Long Airdox in Richlands, VA as a welder. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Matthew Robinette and wife Ashley; granddaughters, Madison, Mackenzie, Mariah, and Megan; grandson, Micheal; brothers, David Elkins, Howard Robinette and wife Ivalene, Michael Robinette and wife Bobbie; sisters, Betty Karnes and husband Shibby, Nina Stump and husband Bob, and Rose Whitt. He shared so many special moments with his nieces and nephews as well with other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Main Street Christian Church, Danny Ball, and his devoted friends from Tannersville VA area for all of your assistance through this difficult time. A graveside service to Celebrate the Life of Roger Dale Robinette will be held 11:00AM , 25, 2017 at Monte Vista Park , Bluefield with Pastor Jim Kiser officiating. Roger will be laid to rest beside the love of his life, his wife, Melissa Robinette at Monte Vista Park following the service John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you.
