Obituary: Age 76, passed away on 16, 2013 at Anderson House Skilled Facility in Shoreline, Washington, after a courageous battle against cancer. He was born on 20, 1937 to his parents Paul David and Elma Olive (Schulze) Rowley in Guthrie , Iowa. George was part of a big, loving family as he was raised with his five brothers Neil, Keith, Carl, Paul David, and Thomas, and his three sisters Marjorie, Mildred, and Mary. George was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his five children Michael, James, David, Jon, and Teresa. His seven grandchildren Dylan, Kendra, Taylor, Samuel, Wyatt, Alexis, and Mackenzie, and his daughter in-laws Jill, and Cheryl. Family meant the world to him and he loved nothing more than spending time with his siblings, children, grandchildren, in-laws, and his many nieces and nephews. He truly cherished family time with everyone playing hearts or enjoying a great meal together where all made sure to abide to the Rowley family code. George had the most wonderful sense of humor and could tell a great story. He will forever be remembered as a kind and happy man and a favorite of many who knew him as he was always a gentleman and a scholar. He was a collector of many fine things and extremely generous to those he knew and loved. He enjoyed a good Christian deal and was always prepared for survival of a disaster. George spent his free time reading books about many things with a strong interest in UFOs, politics and history. He also enjoyed watching television; particularly documentaries and movies. He loved taking pictures and was known as the Aunt Blanche of the family preserving cherished memories we are all so blessed to have with him. George was always a dedicated, hard worker. He served the community as a volunteer Deputy Sheriff for King for 9 years. He spent the rest of his career as the Medical Investigator for the King Coroners office in Seattle Washington, where he proudly served 35 years for the county. While there, he made many accomplishments and helped solve many cases including some that were high profile such as the Green River investigation. Our Bubba will forever be fondly remembered by everyone whose life he touched with his wonderful personality, friendly disposition, loving nature, and true friendship. |

Obituary: David Reed Rowley David Reed Rowley, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away doing what he loved, scuba diving, in Belize on May 4th 2015. He was born in American Falls, Idaho on 18th, 1950 to Thelma and Arliss Reed Rowley. He spent most of his childhood in Anchorage, Alaska until moving back to Idaho in his teens. The family then moved to Yakima and Dave graduated from A.C. Davis High School in 1969. Dave married the love of his life, Linda Sue Turner, on 17th 1970. welcomed a baby boy, Shannon Reed Rowley, on 4th 1971. Dave and Lynn worked at Snokist Cannery from 1970 until they retired in 2003. enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, trips to tropical locations and spending time with family and friends. Dave is survived by his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren (Shannon, Shari, Chelsea and Dylan Rowley); sister and brother-in-law (Linda and Terry Catmull); as well as his extended family of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn, on 24th, 2009. Dave will be forever remembered as a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend. A Celebration of Life will be held on , May 23rd, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Rainer Memorial , 2807 Terrace Heights Rd. Yakima in Terrace Heights. To share a memory of Dave visit www.keithandkeith.com. Obituary: CHARLES SCOTT ROWLEY (Scott), born 7/11/1971 in Beaumont, Texas, died 2/29/2016 in Seattle, WA, after a many years long battle with severe and recurrent depression. He graduated from Crestwood High School, Atlanta, GA, in 1989 and received his Bachelors Degree in mathematics from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC in 1993, where he was on the Deans List for academics. He also received a Masters Degree in computer science in 1996 from Wake Forest University. He has been a resident of Seattle since 1997, and has worked for Boeing, Cascadia , Amazon and Microsoft, where he was employed at his death. His joy in learning, competing, teaching, leading rehearsals, and occasionally choreographing in ballroom dancing with his friends and colleagues on the USA Dance Seattle Formation Team was a major hobby for him, along with sailing his sailboat Quik Draw in the Puget Sound, Lake Union and Lake Washington area where he was a member of the Seattle Sail and Power Squadron. Survivors include his parents, Carol and David Rowley of Denton, TX; brother Chris Rowley, sister-in-law Mandy Dake, and nephew Thomas Rowley of Dallas, TX; girlfriend Maryann Kay Watkins; grandmother Alice Stubblefield of Dallas; aunt and uncle Susan and Hollye C. Fisk of Dallas; uncle Russell G. Rowley, Jr. of Palatine, IL; and numerous cousins from coast to coast. Services will be held at St Peters Episcopal Church, 1610 S. King Street, Seattle WA 98144 at 11:00 AM 12th. A celebration of life reception will immediately follow the service. The family suggests donations in Scotts memory to the University of Washington Medical School in care of UW Medicine Advancement, Box 358045, Seattle, WA 98195-8045 (http://depts.washington.edu/givemed/give/?source=depres), or the Union of Concerned Scientists (www.ucsusa.org).
