Obituary: Stephen Andrew Rozek, 33, of Charlottesville, VA and formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away on May 9, 2017. Stephen was born on 18, 1983 in Evanston, IL to Thomas S. and Valerie Andrae Rozek. He graduated from high school in Chardon, OH. His post-secondary education included graduation from the University of Virginia in May 2006 and from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in May 2013. He was formerly employed by Graham Partners of Newtown Square, PA. Stephen was an accomplished tennis player; winning the Division 1 Ohio state singles championship as a senior in 2002. He played on the Men's tennis team all four years during his time at the University of Virginia. He also loved to travel. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Rozek, his maternal grandfather, Frederick Andrae of Pekin, IL and both paternal grandparents-Leo and Irene Rozek of Buffalo, NY. In addition to his mother, Valerie Rozek, Stephen is survived by a daughter Lilah Rozek, brother David Rozek, sister Laura Rozek Davis, brother-in-law Cruz Davis and niece Sadie Davis. His former wife, Lindsey Powel Rozek, also survives him as well as his maternal grandmother, Sharill Andrae. A memorial service for Stephen will be held on 3, 2017 at 11:00 am with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 am. The calling hour and service will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church, 102 W Rose Tree Rd., Media, PA 19063. Memorial donations may be made in Stephen's honor to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. Please visit www.fcauva.org. |

Obituary: Shirley Stone Royston, age 66, of Front Royal passed away on , 12, 2015 at her home. A funeral service will be conducted on , 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Turner-Robertshaw with Reverend Joseph Swack officiating. Burial will follow in Rockland . Mrs. Royston was born in Leesburg on 19, 1948, a daughter of the late Wendell Garfield and Frances Marie Dillow Stone. She was a receptionist for Ferguson Enterprises. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church in Hamilton, and attended Rockland Community Church where she had been a school teacher. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed movies, crossword puzzles and word searches. She is survived by her step-son, William S. Royston, Jr. and wife Tina of Front Royal; and her brother, Wendell Stone and wife Gloria of Winchester; and numerous aunts and uncles. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Royston was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Royston, Sr. in 2011. Pallbearers will be Billy Royston, Jr., John Thompson, Bobby Allison, Wayne Stone, Mark Eshelman and Justin Williams. The family will receive friends on , 15, 2015 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. |
