Obituary: Robert Gene Pete Oxley, Jr., 59, of Richmond passed away on , 9, 2017. He attended Lee Davis High School and Richmond Tech for HVAC systems. Pete was a master electrician and served in the U. S. Marine Corps as a diesel mechanic working on and test driving tanks. He loved racing, football and trips to the beach. He loved his job and took pride in anything and everything he did. Pete was preceded in death by a sister, Valerie Keener and is survived by five children, Joseph Oxley, Robert Oxley, Bradley Oxley, Megan Oxley and Kyle Oxley; six grandchildren, Cole Oxley, Hanna Oxley, Ella Bowery, Brantley Oxley, Madeline Oxley and Jeremiah Bullfrog Oxley; father, Robert Oxley, Sr. and mother, Carol Draper; and sister, Carolyn Canupp. A memorial service will be held , 13, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Nelsen , 4650 S.
