Obituary: Reese, Anne H., passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on 12, 2014 at the age of 62. She is survived by her loving husband, Dick; sons, Billy (Mary) and Tommy; daughter, Elizabeth; sister, Jane (Curt); brother, Bob (Cathy); grandsons, Zachary and Luke; and countless friends both near and far. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances Hoffman. A 1974 graduate of Indiana University, Anne taught sixth grade in Darien, Connecticut and put herself through graduate school at Fairfield University before relocating to Virginia in 1987 to raise her family with Dick. Anne believed strongly in the power of education and devoted her time to volunteering with P.E.O., an organization dedicated to promoting educational opportunities for women, serving as Chapter President and co-chairing the statewide convention in 2013. Anne lived well, loved well, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Services will be held on , 20 at 11:00 AM at Salisbury Presbyterian Church at 13621 W Salisbury Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113. A reception will follow at Salisbury Country Club at 13620 W Salisbury Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in remembrance of Anne to the P.E.O. Obituary: Theresa Marie Rees, 46, of Madison Heights passed away , 4, 2016, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Michael Wayne Bryant. Born 6, 1970, in Norwich, NY, she was the daughter of Carin Angle Furgison and the late Dale Robert Furgison. Theresa was a secretary for Lynchburg City Schools. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother. In addition to her father, Theresa was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Furgison. In addition to her husband and mother, Theresa is survived by her children, Skyler Rees, Jonathan Bryant and Matthew Bryant, all of Madison Heights; father and mother in-law, Larry and Denise Bryant of Madison Heights; and other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m., , 9, 2016, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Mike Fitzgerald officiating. Obituary: James Conway Rees, 92, of Richmond, passed peacefully , 26, 2011 due to congestive heart failure. Conway was preceded in death by his wife, Kitty, to whom he was married for 61 years. He is survived by his two sons, James C. Rees, IV of Mount Vernon, VA and George C. Rees and his wife, Cynthia of Atlanta. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Cameron Rees of Damascus, VA and Courtney Rees of Atlanta. graduating from VPI in 1939, Conway was an Army officer in World War II, serving in the Pacific. He joined the Army Reserves and retired as a colonel. Conway worked for the State of Virginia for 44 years with a tenure as Director of State Personnel, and he helped negotiate the first statewide health insurance system. He and Kitty were lifetime members of the Richmond Country Club, where they played golf and tennis until just a few years ago. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. , 30th, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
