He is survived by his son Scott D. Obituary: RAHN, Norman H., Jr., Colonel, USAF-Retired, died 8, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman Hill and Ruth Rahn, his best friend and wife of 61 years, Bobbie S. Rahn, and his son, Dr. Norman H. Rahn, III. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan Rahn DuBose and E. L. DuBose and his daughter-in-law, Connie Crawford Rahn; as well as his grandchildren, Deana Lawler, Les Lawler, Rebekah Monson, Andrea Vigil, Matthew Monson, Amanda Monson, Elizabeth Rahn, and Noah DuBose, and adopted granddaughters, Rosa Santiago and Dawn Price. He was also survived by his great-grandchildren, John Luke Lawler, Josiah Rahn Monson, Violet Ruth Monson, Josephine Pearl Wilkins, and Austin Eugene Wilkins, and his sister- and brother-in-law Martha and John A. Jennings, along with many nieces and nephews. He proudly served his country for more than 40 years in the Alabama Air National Guard. Norman and Bobbie were active members of Eastern Hills Baptist Church and belonged to the Sandifer School class. He was a member of the Montgomery Civitan Club for more than 30 years and had served in various leadership roles. He also was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Oak Park Lodge No. 864. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to their church family, Oak Grove Inn, Wesley Gardens, and to the Pairs and Spares/Sandifer School class for their loving support. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on , 12, 2017. The celebration of his life, also at Leak Memory Chapel at 2 p.m., will be conducted by Dr. Rick Marshall, Senior Minister at Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Bobbie was employed by Montgomery Public Schools for over 30 years and she and her husband were active members of Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Bobbie was a member of ADK for over 50 years and had served in various leadership roles. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Dr. Harold Cox and his staff for their care, to her family at Angels for the Elderly for their love and care and to the Pairs and Spares School class for their loving support. Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel from 2:00 to 3:00 on , 5, 2015. The celebration of her life will be conducted by Dr. Rick Marshall, Senior Minister at Eastern Hills Baptist Church and will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on , 5, 2015 at 3:00. Music will be provided by Rev. Keith Pate, Minister of Music at Eastern Hills Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow in Greenwood . Obituary: for Robert David Rahm Sr., 87, of Decatur will be , 1, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Dr. John Skelly and the Reverend Gary Formby officiating and Roselawn directing. Burial will be in Roselawn . Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the church. Mr. Rahm, who died , 29, 2012, at River City , was born 22, 1924, in Lancaster, Pa., to Charles and Helen Rahm. He graduated from Georgia Tech and worked for Noland for 42 years. He served as a deacon at Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Cahaba Shriners Temple in Huntsville and Rotary Club of Decatur and a Paul Harris Fellow. Bob served on the boards of Junior Achievement and Decatur Industrial Development and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Ruth Saye Rahm.
