Obituary: Norma Garrett Robison 1918 ~ 2009 Angel Mother Norma passed away 24, 2009, in her home in Orem with family by her side. She was born 3, 1918, in Riverton, Utah, to Joseph Oscar and Stella Paxman Garrett. Raised in Provo, Utah, all her happy growing up years with one sister, Mignon, and brothers, Weston, Delane and Jay. Her parents owned and operated the University Avenue Grocery Store where Norma served customers many a time. She was actively engaged in dance, gymnastics, sports and music all her life. She went parasailing on her 90th birthday, in Hawaii. Norma met Newal James Robison at Brigham Young University and married 21, 1939 (later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple) moving to Ely and then Reno, Nevada where they raised 3 children, Geraldine Miller, Allan Robison (Yvonne) and Beverly Hardy. Newal died in 1999, at which time she moved to Utah. With her joy of life, she taught her children and grandchildren to dance, play outdoor games, play and sing music and showed them how to cook some of her famous recipes. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She raised her children in the LDS faith and served in many Relief Society and Primary presidencies. Also served 15 years in what is now Family History Libraries. Perhaps, in Visiting Teaching, she is unequaled. She never missed a visit in 60 plus years. Her crowning calling was a Ward Dance Director at age 87. Norma is preceded in death by her beloved husband Newal, her parents and her sister. She has 14 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 44 great-great-grandchildren. services will be held , May 9, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Timpview 5th Ward Chapel, 865 West 1000 North, Orem, Utah. Family and friends may visit from 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Graveside services will be held at the Mountain View , Reno, Nevada on , May 12, 2009, at 10 a.m. |

Obituary: On Fathers Day 19, 2016 Kenny James Robison left this mortal existence and was welcomed to his heavenly home by his cherished mother, Mary Kay Nix Robison. Kenny was born 28, 1977 to Kenny Ray Robison and Mary Kay Nix Robison. He was born with a congenital heart condition, undergoing surgery at only three days old. During his life he survived a co-artery repair, a mechanical value, four pacemakers, two heart transplants, and a serious valve replacement surgery only to pass away a day after returning home from the hospital. Kenny fought hard and loved life. He loved his family, his three children and had a passion for motorcycles, snowmobiles and any outdoor adventures. Kenny had a giant heart and expressed his love thru his eagerness to assist anyone. He was exceptionally talented in the arts and a perfectionist in what he did. Kenny had such great love in each of his three hearts. Kenny is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. During his last surgery he had a life-changing experience of being told he had a second chance. Perhaps, that is being fulfilled on the other side. He gained new faith and commitment to being a devoted husband and father. Obituary: Joan Roberts Robison Joan Roberts Robison, 79, passed away suddenly on 30, 2008, from complications of age. Born 17, 1928 in Garfield, Utah, to Farrell John & LaPriel Stock Roberts; Joan grew up in Magna. She graduated from the University of Utah with a teaching degree in Elementary Education. her marriage to Max C. Robison, they moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where they raised their six children. Their life together in California was rich with church activities, work and family life. In more recent years, Joan spent countless hours completing genealogy work for over one million people per year for the past 15 years. Her reunion on the other side has been celebrated by throngs of people as this faithful and hardworking servant of the Lord has been called home. Joan is survived by her husband, Max Robison, and her six children and their spouses: Nancy Brown, Allen & Emily Robison, Cheri & Grant Ross, Cindy & Tom Yates, Chris & Sue Robison, Aaron & Kim Robison.
