Obituary: Ross K. Rigby was born 27, 1934 in Salt Lake City to Bryant O. Rigby and Sylvia Keppner. He passed away 10, 2016 of cancer. Ross graduated from South High in 1953 and married his high school sweetheart Joanne Lyman. He served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean conflict. Ross and Joanne are the parents of Mike L. Rigby (Valerie) Lynette Nelson (Michael) Laura Wood (Steve) and Lana Rigby who died as an infant. This union is been blessed with numerous grand and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Myron and survived by a sister LaWana Packer and brother Bryant K. Rigby. Ross had an entrepreneur spirit and owned many companies over the course of his business career. He loved the outdoors and shared his knowledge on all levels of scouting. He was gifted with his hands to paint and create pottery but his greatest passion became wood carving where he served as president of the Salt Lake Wood Carvers club. He became a master carver and won numerous awards. His generosity and love for mankind was demonstrated in his daily acts of kindness to all he met. Thank you for your great example. services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary located at 3401 S. Highland Drive, SLC, UT at 11 AM on , 14, 2016. A visitation will be held at Wasatch Lawn on from 5 to 7 PM and again 1 hour prior to services. |

Obituary: Elva Mae Rigby, 73, of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away 12, 2008 after a brief illness. She was born 9, 1935 in Benjamin, Utah the daughter of Raymond Dean and Jennie Mae Thomas Hone. Elva married Jewel Clark Rigby on 11, 1950. She was employed as a truck driver for Geneva, as an Artex paint instructor and embroidery machinist. She loved people and looked for ways to help them and meet their needs. Elva was an herbalist and enjoyed fishing, sewing, bead work, quilting, knitting, and many crafts. She also loved traveling, yard work, and gardening. She was a caring mother and friend to all. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an investor of real estate, and especially loved her summer home in Wyoming and her home in Spanish Fork. Elva is survived by three daughters, Juanita Hunt (Jim), of field, Utah; Lila Wyler (Rick), Riverside, CA; and Carla Kelsey (Ralph), Payson, Utah; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert Hone; Dale Hone; and a sister, Leah Elliot. Elva was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Jewel Roy; her parents; a sister; and a brother. services will be held on , 16, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah.
