Obituary: Our beloved father, John G. De La Rosa, 95, of Houston Texas was called home to be with the Lord on the evening of May 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. We were blessed to celebrate his 95th Birthday on that day. John was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Army during the World War II. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Dad always enjoyed his sweet treats and knew when his grandchildren would sneak one out. He is survived by his daughters Frances D. Hernandez, Leticia D. Garcia and Laura Arenas. (Grandchildren – Raquel, Johnny, Robert Jr, Stephanie, Ashley, Amy, Kristina and Jasmine), six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his loving memory. A visitation will be held on , May 9, 2017 from 5-9 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7 PM at Crespo – Navigation located at 2516 Navigation Blvd., in Houston, Texas. A funeral mass will be celebrated on , May 10, 2017 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 2405 Navigation Blvd., in Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas. |
