Obituary: LILLIAN L. ROBINSON Lillian L. Robinson a life-long resident of New Braunfels left this earth on 1, to rejoin her many family members who have gone before her. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on 22, 1941 to Othmar Klabunde and Natalie Friesenhahn Klabunde. the death of her Dad, when she was only 11 months old, she and her Mother moved to New Braunfels. At the age of 3, her Mother remarried Willie Koepp, who raised and loved her as his own. She graduated from NBHS in 1959, and married John D. Robinson in 1959. Together they had 3 children, Justine (Tina) Quinn, Nanette Mueller and Jonathan Robinson. She worked at USAA for 26 years, and retired from there in 1992. She is predeceased by her parents, step-dad Willie Koepp, daughter Tina Quinn, sister Janice Noble, in-laws Bob and Mary Simmons, Bob & Betty Crist and Tom Hatfield. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John D. Robinson, daughter Nanette Mueller and husband, Randy of Austin, son Jonathan Robinson of San Antonio, son-in-law Jimmy Quinn of New Braunfels, grandson Brett Quinn and wife, Katie, granddaughters Brittani Mueller and Ty Milliff of Station and Amanda Mueller of Austin, sister Kathy Noble and husband Kery of New Braunfels, sister-in-laws Polly Hatfield of New Braunfels, Laura (Cookie) Westinghouse of Florida, brothers-in-law Butch Robinson and wife, Cecilia of New Braunfels and Jim Robinson and wife Lois of Houston and her faithful dog Toby. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and her many friends who have given her love and support through her battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends who knew her. The family wishes to thank Dr. William Reeves and staff, Dr. Alexander Zweibach and staff at the Cancer , the wonderful nurses at Christus Santa Rosa, Hope Hospice and the staff at Sundance , who all cared for her during her time of need. Her wishes were to be cremated, so there will not be any visitation, but a memorial service will be held on , 9, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Zoeller . under the direction of Zoeller , New Braunfels, TX. |

Obituary: Leonita Pavlas Robinson, 99 years old at the time of her death, passed away peacefully on 8, 2014 at the Oak Manor in Flatonia. Leonita, the third child born to Adolph C. and Hedwig (Gieptner) Pavlas, was born on May 24, 1915 in the Novohrad community. Her brother Adolph Jr. died in infancy and her sister Hattie died in 1932 at the age of 19. Her parents raised a foster son, Johnnie Zeman Pavlas who is also deceased. Leonita attended elementary school in Novohrad. She attended Schulenburg High School for 2½ years, but quit to help care for her dying sister. Leonita went back to school at Komensky and graduated in 1933. That fall she started her senior year in Shiner and lived with her aunt, Annie Brosch. She graduated from Shiner High School in 1934. graduation, she accepted the position of bookkeeper for Kotzebue Drug Store. While in Moulton, she lived with Dr. and Mrs. Heger. She worked there until the Hegers invited her to go with them on a trip to Detroit, Michigan to pick up the new car they had purchased. Thinking this was an opportunity she could not refuse; she quit her job and accompanied the Hegers on their trip. rode the train known as the Dinky to the end of its route and took a bus from there. getting the car, they toured Michigan, Niagara Falls, Canada and several western states on their way home. While working at Harry Ottos Café, Leonita met the love of her life, Bryon Robinson. married 14, 1940. To this union two children were born, daughter Cynthia and son Gregg. Working side by side on their farm and dairy, they lived a good life in Flatonia until 13, 1954 when her beloved Bryon was killed in a truck accident. Leonita was a charter member and former officer of the American Legion Auxiliary, a charter member of The Catholic Daughters of America, a former member and officer of the P.T.A., a member and former officer of the K.J.Z.T, former Cub Scout Den Mother, and has been an Eucharistic Minister from its inception. Her favorite pastimes were reading, doing Seek and Find puzzles, playing cards and dominoes, talking to her family and friends, crocheting, bowling, and cheering on the Spurs. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Robinson) Baca and her son Gregg Robinson. Cynthias family includes her husband Edwin, her children Emery (his wife Janet), Melanie, Kelly and Bryon (his wife Jennifer). Greggs family includes his wife Myra, his children James (his wife Melissa), Monica (her husband Cody) and Philip (his wife Abigail). She was blessed with 5 great \ grandsons. Michael and Christopher (Emerys sons), Benjamin and Joshua (Bryons sons) and Landry (James son). Leonita also had 4 great \ great \ grandchildren. Michaels children Jacob, Allison, Hayden and Kathryn. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am , 10, 2014 at Smith -Flatonia and a rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. Obituary: Leonard Robinson was born on 31, 1927 in Rexton, MI to the late Arthur Robinson and Roseline St. AMour. On 18, 1946, Leonard married Ms. Marion Parsell. He loved his family and his Country. He served in the Navy during WWII, and MSG (Ret.) Leonard Robinson retired in 1966 from the Army, having served in Korea during the Korean War. his military service, he managed the Fort Hood skating rink for several years. He then started his own business cutting and bailing hay serving the Bell area. He was also preceded in death by his six brothers, three sisters and his son Sidney. MSG (Ret.) Obituary: Leone (Leon) Sanders Robinson was born 25, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to his parents Iralee and Sterling Robinson. Leon attended schools in Dallas, including Booker T. Washington High School. During his high school years, Leon married and became a father to his surviving children, Renee’ Robinson Davis, Necia Robinson Thomas, Dwayne Keith Robinson, Mickey Robinson Wright, a predeceased son Leone Robinson, Jr. Two additional children were born during a subsequent marriage, a surviving daughter Anjanette Robinson Webster and a predeceased son, Darrell Robinson. Leon worked determinedly throughout his life to provide for his children and family. During the early years, he worked as a bus boy at Baker Hotel and later as a nurse’s aide at Woodlawn Hospital. Leon later became employed full-time as an occupational therapy assistant at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, while simultaneously working full-time at General Motors Parts and Warehouse Division in Dallas and Everman, Texas. Leon retired from Parkland Hospital and General Motors after working 30 years on each job. these retirements, Leon earned a commercial drivers license and returned to work as a bus driver with Dallas Schools. He retired from Dallas Schools after 15 years of employment. On 11, 1981, Leon married his devoted wife Linda Dianne Ross. The two made their home in Dallas, Texas where they unwaveringly supported each other in all of life’s endeavors, including growing spiritually and owning a private occupational and physical therapy business, Occupational Solutions. Leon was most proud of his sure salvation through Jesus Christ, Our Savior and his membership and fellowship at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. Leon became a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church on 4, 2000 where he served in the Parking Lot Ministry, as a special event driver for The Women of Courage, and a member of the Couples Small Group. Leon’s life scripture was Philippians 1:21 “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Leon would quote this verse with such excitement and end by saying “I’m in a win/win situation!” All who knew Leon agree that his most admired qualities were his honesty and integrity, dependability, commitment and love for his wife, friends and family, and his faith in God. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Linda Robinson; mother in law, Jessie Mullen; devoted sister, Patricia Henderson (Roger); brother in laws, David Chandler (Sheila) and Lloyd Ross (Pat); brothers in Christ, Anthony B. Brown, Phillip Murray, Sammy Blackmon, and Pastor Bobby Gibson; and numerous first cousins including Annie Kathryn White, Victor Matthews (Michelle), S.T. Bradley (Emma), Melvin Bradley, Gene Bradley, Robert Bradley and numerous others. |
