Obituary: HELEN HAWES ROBINSON Helen Hawes Robinson, 87, of Odessa passed away , 22, 2010 at Odessa Regional Hospital. She was born 18, 1922 in Oklahoma City, OK to Julius & Alice Hawes. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and had served as the Pastors secretary for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Raymond L. Robinson. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Robinson & wife Linda of Odessa & David Robinson of Arlington, TX, (1) grandson, Brad Robinson & wife Tracee Robinson, and (2) great-grandchildren, Chelcee & Zachary Robinson. There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. , 22, 2010 at Hubbard-Kelly . services will be held at 4:30 p.m. , 25, 2010 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Duckett officiating. Obituary: Harvey Gerald Robinson Harvey Gerald Robinson, age 53, of Lubbock, passed away, , 16, 2015, at home. He was born 30, 1962 in Lamesa, Texas, to James and Harlene Robinson. He attended Smyer High School. He enjoyed playing all sports. He was a creative craftsman, artist, and carpenter. He was a man of great strength who was loved by those who saw him as a son, brother, husband, dad, pawpaw, and friend. He is survived by parents, James and Harlene, brother Wesley Robinson, sisters Jana Wuthrich and Becky Austin, son Adam Robinson, daughter Sarah Robinson, and grandson Sonny. Obituary: Harry Parkes Robinson, 76, of Dallas, TX passed away 19, 2016. He was born to Walter and Elizabeth Robinson on 26, 1939 in Dallas. Parkes received his BA degree from North Texas State University in journalism. He worked for a time for the Sherman-Democrat then continued his career as a free-lance journalist and in commercial real estate for a number of years. He also spent 3 years in the Army. He enjoyed his friends, spent time reading and was somewhat involved in political activities. Those who preceded Parkes are his parents and his twin sister Eunice Beth Aragon. Those left to cherish his memory are his brother Walter Robinson and wife Patsy; nephew John Robinson; nieces Andrea Bertrand and husband John and Elizabeth Aragon; as well as numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Obituary: Harry E. Robinson, Jr. was born in Port Arthur, Texas 3, 1928 and died 25, 2015. He graduated from public schools in Port Neches, Texas in 1946. He was active in Scouting in the Sabine Area Council attaining the rank of Eagle in 1944. He attended Lamar University in Beaumont and graduated from North Texas University with a BBA. Between 1951 and 1953 he served in the U.S. Army and enrolled in the University of Texas at Austin after his army discharge. He received an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 1955 and was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He held several positions in the bank and retired in 1986 as a Senior Vice President. During his working years he attended the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking, Texas A&M School of Management, and the AMA School of Management. He also served on the Texas A&M Executive Development Board of Directors, as president of the American Institute of Banking, as president of the Dallas Management Association, and president of the Dallas Personnel Association. In 1980 Harry was the driving force in the effort to get indoor pools constructed in the Richardson ISD. his retirement from business he was an active yachtsman and participated in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was elected Captain of Division 10, 8th Coastal Region in 2002. He was a member of the Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church for 40 years. Survived by wife of 63 years, Billie Robinson; Daughter, Cindy Devore; Son, Paul Robinson and his wife Bridget. Six grandchildren, Roy Devore, Jeff Devore, Amy Tajbakhsh and Jill Snyder, and Kate and Tori Robinson. The family asks that in lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church, 3901 North Star Rd. Richardson, TX 75082. |
