Obituary: RISENER Bennie Louise Risener, age 86, died , 18, 2013 with her loving husband of 67 years by her side. Bennie was born in San ine, Texas on 4, 1927 to Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Cox. At the age of 14, Bennie met the love of her life, Harold whom she married in 1946. An avid golfer, Bennie won the Ladies Golf Championship at Canyon Creek Country Club in 1963 and 1965. In 1964, she played golf with the Ladies Professional Golfers Association as an amateur. Her greatest joy as a golfer came from coaching her son Hal. In 1964 Hal won Junior Golf Champion at Canyon Creek Country Club (now Sonterra) and held the course record of 66. Hals untimely passing, Bennie wrote an article for Golf Magazine titled A Swing Only God Can See, which was about Hals short life and his accomplishments in golf. From 1965 - 1966 Bennie was the Golf Coach at Nimitz Junior High School in San Antonio, Texas. Bennie was also very active with many social and civic clubs in San Antonio. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Rotarys Inner Wheel where she served as President for three terms, the Navy Officers Wives Club, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the St. Anthony Club, the K Supper Club, and the Petroleum Club. In her later years, Bennie decided to share her love of jewelry with others and started making custom designed jewelry and called her business Bennies Beads. Bennie was loved by all who knew her and never missed a party or the chance to dance. She and Harold recently celebrated their 67th anniversary at the Inn at Los Patios, where they have lived for the last 2 years. Bennie was preceded in death by her son Hal; her parents; and her sister, Billie Warren. She is survived by her loving husband, Harold; sisters Totsie Lemons and Shirlee Alford; close personal friend Dr. Eli Whitney; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on , 22, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough. SERVICE MONDAY APRIL 22, 2013 10:30 A.M. Obituary: Saul Robert Riseman was born 7, 1922 to Samuel and Sadie Riseman in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away 19, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. graduating high school in Kansas City, Saul entered the U.S. Army in World War II. He served his country with valor and distinction, earning many awards including a Purple Heart, Soldiers Medal and Good Conduct Medal. the war, he married the love of his life, Rose Klein. In 1977, after 30 years in the grocery industry, he retired to Dallas to be with his family. In Dallas, his family became long-time members of Congregation Shearith Israel and Saul was able to pursue a love of golf. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a son. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose Riseman; sons, Ron Riseman and wife, Adrienne, and Bill Riseman and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Steve, Ken, Laurie, Julie, Ryan and Rachel; and sister, Rosalie Goldstein. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Robert Koster and all the staff at Baylor for their care and compassion through the years. Saul will always be remembered and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. , 23, 2010 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Rabbi William Gershon officiating. Obituary: Rose Riseman, 88, of Dallas passed away at her residence on 5, 2013. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all that knew and loved her and she will be missed. She was born in Brest, Poland on 25, 1924 to Sam and Mary Appel Klein. She escaped Poland at the age of 15 and with her family moved to Montreal, Canada in 1939. She met her husband Saul Riseman in Dallas after WW II and soon after lived in Kansas City, KS where she and Saul raised their family. In 1977 she and her family moved to Dallas, TX until her death. Rose was a member of Congregation Shearith Israel. Survivors include her 2 sons: Ronald Riseman and his wife Adrienne of Dallas, TX; William Riseman and his wife Nancy of Dallas, TX; 6 grandchildren, Stephen, Kenneth and Lauren Riseman, Julie Kern and her husband Joshua, Ryan and Rachel Riseman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by one son Steven Edward Riseman in 1951 and husband Saul Riseman. A Graveside Service will at 10:00 am on , 7, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park , 7405 W.
