Obituary: Henrietta Louise Redepenning, age 75, passed away 18, 2010. She was born in San Antonio 26, 1935. She was the first born of seven beautiful sisters raised by loving parents Henry and Dorothy Sievers. During high school Henrietta met Charles Redepenning, who had moved to San Antonio for his first tour in the Air Force. soon embarked on a lifelong adventure that produced 49 wonderful years of marriage, four happily married children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Henriettas Air Force marriage took the family to Florida, Turkey, Nevada, Japan, D.C., Panama, and then back to San Antonio. Henriettas greatest passions were her family and her faith. Her sisters Helen, Kay, Ruthie, Mary Ellen, Corine and Dottie were also her best friends. She was always there for her husband and children, making sure they had everything they needed before attending to herself. She was a tireless adventurer, making sure her family left the base and explored every sight to see wherever they were stationed. Henrietta was a tax preparer by trade, and her main hobbies were art and music. Her graceful hands produced beautiful paintings in oil and sublime music from her piano. Henrietta was a devout servant of Jesus. She was an active member of St. Helenas Catholic Church for the past 32 years. Over that time she served as organist, offering counter, and Eucharistic Minister to churchgoers, hospital patients and the homebound sick who couldn attend church. She was a volunteer at the SAMMS ministry to the needy. She taught English at the university in Ankara, Turkey, and to business executives in Japan. Henrietta lived life to the fullest, and every person who came near her was filled with the warmth of her giving nature and her uncontainable love. She is survived by daughter Kathi Dooley and husband Sean and children Erin and Ian and grandchildren Trinity and Lorelei of San Antonio, son Charles Redepenning, Jr. and wife Kay and children Libby and Charlie of Concord, MA, daughter Roxanne Barnett and husband John and daughters Lauren and Samantha Fisk of San Antonio, and son Scott Redepenning and wife Allison and children Molly and Collin of Houston. Obituary: REDEPENNING

Charles W. Redepenning, Sr., age 71, passed away 25, 2001. He was born in Duluth, MN, May 21, 1930. At age 20 he joined the Air Force and was assigned to Lackland A.F.B. in San Antonio. Here he met his soulmate, Henrietta Sievers and thus began a lifelong love story that produced 49 beautiful years of marriage, four happily married children and eight grandchildren, from age 26 to 1. His 29 years of active duty took Chuck and his family from San Antonio to Florida, Turkey, Nevada, Japan, D.C., Panama and back to San Antonio. Here he retired at the highest NCO rank, Chief MSgt., and then began a 15-year civil service career, in which he traveled the world designing, building and inspecting commissaries. Chuck had a passion for running. He competed in hundreds of races including 50 marathons, winning most of them and placing in the others. He had a passion for gardening, constantly coaxing from the earth an astonishing array of magnificent flowers. He had a passion for holidays, perennially creating a Christmas light display that dazzled all within a 5-mile radius. He was passionate about people, making fast friends of all who crossed his lively path. But most of all, his passion was for his beautiful bride and family, and the Lord Jesus who guided them all. He is survived by his wife Henrietta, daughter Kathi Dooley and husband Sean and children Erin and Ian of San Antonio, son Charles Redepenning, Jr. and wife Kay and children Libby and Charlie of Concord, MA, daughter Roxanne Barnett and husband John and daughters Lauren and Samantha Fisk of San Antonio, and son Scott Redepenning and wife Allison and children Molly and Collin of Houston.
