Obituary: Anne Chaney Ratcliff, age 74, had her family by her side when she peacefully passed away the sunny morning of , 1, 2012 in her home in Allen, TX. She was born on 22, 1937 to Walter James and Mary Viola Chaney in Warrensburg, MO. She would have turned 75 this month. Anne was an extraordinarily beautiful woman. Her unmistakable laughter always filled a room, she would welcome you into her heart with her warm smile and generosity, and her bright spirit reminded you that God truly does create magnificent souls. Everyone whose life was touched by Anne knew how very special she was. She was active in the Catholic Church for many years and maintained a very strong Christian faith throughout her life. She loved traveling with family and friends, visiting art museums, cooking and nature. She had a passion for pretty things, especially flowers, and would spend long spring and summer days working in her gardens. Above all, Anne cherished and adored her family. Anne is survived by her loving husband, Robert Pulte Ratcliff of 54 years, daughter, Amy Leeann Bowman and son, Patrick Scott Ratcliff; both from Shreveport, LA and sister, Sandra Lee Tywater of Bedford, TX. Anne also leaves behind her two beautiful granddaughters, Rebecca and Sarah Bowman and a beloved dog named Maggie. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Viola House and father, Walter James Chaney. In honoring Annes wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will rest in the St. Jude Columbarium. Mass and Rite of Committal will take place at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1515 N. Greenville Avenue in Allen, TX, , 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow immediately after the services in the Parish hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Annes honor to the Alzheimers Association: alz.org. |

Obituary: Michelle Renee Ratchman, 55, of New Braunfels, passed away on , 16, 2010 at her residence. She was born to Theodore Morris and Bernice (Bruce) Morris in Great Lake, Illinois. Michelle graduated from Griffith High School class of 1973. graduating she enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many places throughout the States. She lived in Denver, CO and Phoenix, AZ for many years before settling in the San Antonio Area. Later in life she decided to go back to school and attended San Antonio and completed her Degree at the University of Texas San Antonio. She began Teaching for the local Head Start and after 8 years began mentoring teachers. She is survived by her husband, Michael Ratchman; daughters, Melinda Nelson and husband Randy; Magan Long and husband Russ and Marcede Pullen and husband Lee; sisters, Pam Cook, Cindy Jursic, and Lisa Coapstick; brothers, Tony Morris, and Ted Morris; grandchildren, Cadin Long, Emily Long, Mason Long and Savannah Nelson; and Parents Theodore and Bernice Morris. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM , 20, 2010 at the Oakwook Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Still officiating.
