Obituary: Gene Harold Rahmberg, age 82, passed away 18, 2010. He was born on 28, 1927 in St. Louis, MO to Harold & Sally Rahmberg. Gene was a Navy veteran who served during WWII. He later owned and operated Rahmberg Mobile s & Recreational Vehicles for 30 years. For the last 20 years, he was an Independent Real Estate Broker specializing in farms and ranches. He was preceded in death by his son, Gene Harold Rahmberg, Jr.; and his sister, Barr. Gene is survived by wife of 63.5 years, Billie Rahmberg; children, Russell Rahmberg and Lee Rahmberg; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca Rinard, Samatha Cox, Stephanie Cross, Russell Rahmberg, Lauren Rahmberg, Clay Rahmberg and Erin Rahmberg; 4 great grandchildren; numerous other loving relatives and friends. Obituary: Emmett J. Rahm age 94, went to be with the Lord on , 2, 2009. He was born on 10, 1914, In Yoakum, Texas, to Robert E. and Minnie A. Rahm. The family moved to San Antonio in 1932. Emmett attended law school at the University of Texas in Austin and was licensed to practice law as a member of the Texas State Bar in , 1941. Prior to Pearl Harbor he joined the United States Army, serving in the Army Air Corps. as a liaison pilot in the C.B.I. China-Burma-India Theatre of Operations with the 528th Fighter Squadron. the war he returned to San Antonio and was appointed as Assistant District Attorney by Bexar District Attorney William N. Bill Hensley. In 1949 he was appointed as a Municipal Court Judge for the city of San Antonio by Mayor Jack White. He then became associated in the practice of law with the late United States District Judge Adrian A. Spears. He was an active member of the San Antonio Bar Association and in 1950 was appointed by Texas State Bar President Albert T. Jones to serve as a member of the 20th District Grievance Committee to replace W. Pat Camp. He was a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, The State Bar of Texas, was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and was a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. From his youth he played the base fiddle and occasionally the trumpet and organized a band which played at many watering holes in Bexar . He continued to practice law and later formed the San-Tex Energy Corporation with his good friend Michael Walsh operating in S.E. Bexar, Atascosa and Wilson Counties. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Emmett is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Robert E. Rahm, M.D., and his mother, Minnie A. Rahm of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Mary Connor of San Jose, California and Leona E. Barry of San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Jeanne Campbell, of San Antonio, Texas and brother, Fr. Harold J. Rahm, who is a Jesuit priest serving in San Paulo, Brazil. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews living in Texas and California; and his secretary and friend of over 34 years, Regina L. Ridgeway, of San Antonio, Texas. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their wonderful care and Dr. Mark Riddoch, M.D., for the loving care he showed Mr. Rahm. |

Obituary: Anita Kowsilia Rahim, a longtime resident of the Sugar Land area, passed away 21, 2015 in the company of her family. Born 25, 1956 in Berbice, Guyana to mother, Mavis Seelochnee Haripersaud and father, Walter Coglan Haripersaud. She lost her mother at a young age and was raised in the homes of relatives. She later married her husband Harry Narine in 1975 and moved to Toronto, Canada before eventually settling in Sugar Land, Texas. She devoted herself to raising her three sons, Mitchel, Gregory and Anand. She was truly passionate about her love of family. So much so, that Anita was referred to those who knew her, as a mother, and a sister, not just as a friend. Although she came from humble beginnings, she never let that stand in her way of being happy and making sure those around her were as well. Anita had the perfect combination of nurturing spirit and gumption. She would always be quick with a word of advice served up with a cup of tea or home made meal. A woman of faith and the heart of the Rahim family, Anita shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian example. She truly had an unwavering faith in God, even throughout her illness she was never afraid. She will be profoundly missed by her family and those who were blessed to have known her. Anita is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her beloved Husband of 40 years, Harry Narine and her three sons Mitchel Mitch Rahim(Katie), Gregory Greg Rahim(Valentina), and Anand Rahim(Whitney); her Grandchildren Mitchel Jr., Sophia, Caroline, and Gregory Jr. The family will be welcoming family and friends at the home of Joe and Cynthia Bryant. 530 Flintdale Road, Houston, TX 77024.
