Obituary: Lauralee Shari Reinhart was born 27, 1942 in Salem, Oregon the daughter of Leonard and Trieste Gainer, both teachers in the Lebanon area. Her school years were in Lebanon, Neahkahnie, and graduating from Grants Pass, Oregon with honors and an accomplished violinist. graduation she completed the Famous Artists Course continuing on to graduation from the Portland Museum Art in fashion art and design. She began her career with Meyer & Frank and went on in commercial art with Lynch and VanCleave Advertising Agency. She married the love of her life Roy Reinhart, a graduate of Sweet High School, 28, 1968 when he returned from serving in the Coast Guard as an electronic technician in Okinawa. While Roy established himself working for AT & T Telephone Systems and finally Bonneville Power Administration, Lauralee kept busy as housewife and floral arranger for weddings and funerals. She loved calligraphy and photography and was for years the volunteer editor of the America Tomorrow television program showing on Portland municipal cable MCTV, and from there requested in 40 cities for their local cable services. Her friends and church enjoyed her personally designed occasions cards in foldouts and 3-dimensional cuts. Lauralee passed from this world quietly and unexpectedly in the early morning hours of her sleep on 15, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roy; her sister Leone Brown; her niece Colene Bradley and husband Chris, and their two children Mariah and Michael; her nephew Larkin Brown and his wife Cindy, and their girl Raelynn. Lauralees enthusiasm for life and encouragement to her friends and family will be greatly missed. Services will be held 1:00pm 28, 2014 at the Chapel of Lincoln Memorial, 11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086. The interment will be 2:00pm at Willamette National : www.lincolnmemorialpk.com |

Obituary: Judy Charmaine Reinhart, 81, of Grants Pass died 25, 2017 at Norris Manor. Judy was born 11, 1935 in Seattle, Washington. She moved to Grants Pass, Oregon in the spring of 1969 after proclaiming the Rogue Valley to be the prettiest place in the world. Judy was a wonderful mother, wife and avid volunteer in her community. She enjoyed golf, painting and crafts. She especially enjoyed serving others. Judy was a long time member of PEO-CD, a sisterhood providing educational opportunities for female students. She, also, volunteered at the Grants Pass Museum of Art and numerous other non-profits throughout her life to make a difference in the lives of others. Judy was fundamental in the implementation of the community garden “Raptor Creek Farm” to supply quality food to the Josephine Food Bank. Sam Engel, previous operations director of Raptor Creek Farms stated, “Judy had a beautiful and expansive vision of what the community could accomplish by working together. It was that vision that made Raptor Creek Farm possible. Her compassionate influence and belief in our shared strength will continue to positively impact our community and improve countless lives. It is and honor to have known her and she will be remembered very fondly." Judy and husband John Reinhart were strong advocates to create a city park with sports fields. Their contributions to the park were recognized with the naming of Reinhart Volunteer Park in Grants Pass. Judy is survived by her children, whom she loved: Terrance D. Begley; William T. Begley; Judith B. Merchant; Lisa Marshall; John’s children: Steve Reinhart; Mike Reinhart; Ken Reinhart; Laura Dickenson; Maryanne Looney; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren each of which she loved and adored. A memorial service will be held 1:00pm, May 6, 2017, at Reinhart Volunteer Park. Services provided by Chapel of the Valley- LB Hall www.chapel-valley.com. |

Obituary: Earl passed away on 30, 2010 at Avamere Rehabilitation center in Beaverton, Oregon. He was 88 years old. Earl was born on May 12, 1922, in Ryder, North Dakota. He was the youngest of ten children born to Andrew and Sarah Reinertson. He briefly attended the Advertising Art School at the Portland Art Museum. It was at the art school that he met Barbara Beck, his wife to be. Earl was inducted into the US Army Air Corp in 1942 and served as a photographic lab technician at Luke Field near Phoenix Arizona. Earl and Barbara were married in of 1945. his discharge in of 1946, Earl studied at UCLA for one year. He and Barbara then returned to Portland where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at Lewis and Clark . For most of their lives together Earl and Barbara lived in Lake Grove, Oregon where they raised three daughters. He worked at Northwest Natural Gas for 30 years retiring as a Field Consultant in 1983. During his career Earl was Chief Steward of the Office and Professional Employees Union, Local 11, participating in contract negotiations with the company. Earl was president of the Blue Flame Gun Club, a member of Oregon Hunters Association, and was a strong leader in the Oregon Duck Hunters Association where he was president for at least one term. Survivors include Barbara (his wife of 65 years), three daughters: Leslie Harrison of McMinnville, Oregon, Bonnie Ford of Gresham, Oregon, and Dianne Reinertson of Oregon City, Oregon, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. |
