Obituary: Obituary: Dorothy Dean Pogue, Burns, Rinehart Dorothy 90, Went to be with the lord on 11, 2015. She was born on 7, 1925 to Eddie and Mary Cornia Pogue in Holdenville. She went to work at the telephone company at a young age and transferred to the OKC office to support her husband, Chester Earl Ted Burns ambition to own and operate The Burns Tastee Freeze in MWC. along with their children successfully operated this business for 7 years. Then later she married H.M. Rinehart and was responsible for the success of the Rinehart Painting and Drywall Co. until they retired. Dorothy had a sweet and loving spirit and this was demonstrated by the giving of her time and energy working alongside her daughter, her best friend, Brenda (Burns) Woods at Crossroad Cathedrals clothing room until it close down. She continued her passion by serving at Masters Market (MWC) in the clothing room until recently. She got a lot on enjoyment on seeing how they pay it forward to help people in need and the compassion they have for people and each other. She took pleasure in working in her flower garden, and mowing with her riding lawn mower. She loved her animals especially her dog Lucky. She was known to go to McDonalds on a daily basis and get two sausage biscuits or two hamburgers, one for her and one for lucky. She was a very independent and giving woman who loved being able to do for others. She always insisted on paying the bill whenever she went out to eat with someone. She was most happy spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter; grandchildren Selah Woods and John Slentz; brothers, Jack and Glen Pogue. Survivors include her son, Ted Burns (Joy); son-n-law E.M. (Junior) Woods (Donna); 5 grandchildren Mathew Burns (Mendi) and their 3 children; Chad Woods (Bonnie) and their 3 children; Daniel Woods; Marcia Dooley and her 3 children; Cynthia Siddiqui (Shazhad) and their 3 children. Several nieces and nephews Mary Lou Spear; Bill Pogue (Gloria); Mary Ann Ross; Terry Glen Pogue; and Vance Vanhooser. Memorial service will be held at Meadowood Baptist Church, , 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhour funeral.com The other day Dorothy called me needing to go to the store to get groceries, so when I took her and all she got was cat food and dog food. Several years ago when she broke her arm the orthopedic doctor she went was located on the south side of Oklahoma City, so every time we went to her appointment we had to stop off at pioneer pies one of her favorite places to eat and have a discussion about who was going to pay for the food. When she had knee surgery we noticed she was talking kind of loopy, so we said something to the nursing staff, come to find out she was pressing the pain pump with her finger without realizing it. assured us she couldn get too much of the pain medicine but we did move the control from her hand. One time when she was at a funeral a sister-n-law mention how much she liked the jacket she had on. So she took it off and gave it to her, thats just how she was. Several years ago when she started wearing full dentures, she would either take the top or bottom out and put them on her night stand or somewhere and forget but the dog would find them and chew them up. Don know how many sets she went through till she got some implants on the bottom, then misplaced those and never found them to this day. Obituary: Robert Charles R.C. Rimer, 88, of Shawnee passed away 30, 2016. He was born 17, 1928 in Newalla, Oklahoma to Foy and Mattie Rimer. R.C. was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A hobby that he enjoyed throughout his life was Trap Shooting and was a member of the Oklahoma Trap Shooting Hall of Fame. He proudly served his country in the Army and National Guard. R.C. worked for 25 years at Pratts Food Store and retired as the Frozen Foods Manager. During those years, he helped establish the Pratts Food Stores in Muskogee and Shawnee. R.C. was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Iva Rimer; son, James David Rimer; granddaughter: Iva Lee Fletcher; and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. R.C. is survived by children: Robert Rimer, Jr. (Rona), Carolyn Fletcher (Vernon) and Gary Rimer; grandchildren: Robert Rimer, III (Stephanie), Holly Rimer, Curtis Fletcher, Levi Rimer and Ellen Henry (Tom Jr.); great grandchildren: Iva Ruth Rimer, Paris Rimer, Luke Fletcher, Zack Fletcher, Joe Fletcher, Trey Henry III, Natalie Henry and Sarah Henry; 4 great great grandchildren; and siblings: Betty Withrow, Shirley King, Virginia Gurthrie, and Clayton Rimer.
