Obituary: Robert J. Ringler, 86, went home to be with the Lord on 17th, 2014. Robert was born in Akron, Ohio on 25, 1928 to parents Willard and Gladys Ringler. Bob retired from Lawsons however most of his career was spent teaching organ and playing in various bands and clubs around the area. He was a member of the Stow Alliance Fellowship, founder of the Christian Fellowship Breakfast, past president of the Lions club and belonged to the Kent Masonic Temple, Rockton Lodge No. 316. Bob is survived by his daughters: Lucy (Jim) Gaffney, Bobbie (Tony) Vallad, Judy Hamrick, Donna Whitacre and Diane (Wayne) Alford. Surviving also are his 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his brother Dick (Mary Ann) Ringler, special friend Deb Gorsline and many loving nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his wives: Beatrice Jean Ringler and Lela Lowder Ringler. Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski , 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on , 21, 2014 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM and again from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral service on , 22nd at the Stow Alliance Fellowship, 4460 Stow Rd, Stow, OH 44224 with Pastor John Cervone officiating.
