Obituary: Bill Rhoten, Sr., age 80, of Madison, passed away , 16, 2014. Born 21, 1933 in Lee , VA, he was the son of Nola Mae (Lambert) and Henry Rhoten. He married Jean Scott on 26, 1963 in Ashtabula. Bill retired from Morton Salt after 39 years of service. He was a man of deep faith and was an active member of Lake Erie Church of God since 1969 where he was a member of the Senior Adult Group and a former clerk and usher. Bill was a kind and caring man who loved spending time with his family and planting flowers in his garden. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Rhoten of Madison; son, William (Laura) Rhoten Jr. of Painesville; grandchildren, Amanda (Tim) Watson and Dustin Rhoten both of Canton; great-grandchildren, TJ and Chloe Watson; brother, Donnie Bowman of Big Stone Gap, VA; sisters, Regina York of Indianapolis, IN, Willie Jo Ball of Metamora, IN, Lois Belcher of Pennington Gap, VA, Loretta Edmonds of South Gate, MI and Rosetta Bush of Brookville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, John Bowman; sister, Virginia Ramey, Violet Bowman and infant sister, Juanita; brothers, Lennie and Eulace Rhoten, Jerry Bowman. Friends will be received 10 AM – 12 PM, , 19, 2014, at Lake Erie Church of God, 3050 Antioch Road, Perry, OH 44081. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm. Bernard was born 15, 1934 in Ansonia, Ohio; the son of the late Loyal G. & Bertha (Petering) Rhotehamel. Bernard retired from Fram after 40 plus years of service and also enjoyed being a full time farmer. Bernard love spending time with his family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. In addition to his parents, Bernard was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Frances; sister, Hazel Driscoll; and step great grandson, Austin Waymire. Obituary: Dennis W. Denny Rhome, age 58 of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord at 4:15 p.m. , 20, 2014, at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his family, after an extensive battle with leukemia. He was born 2, 1956 in Alliance, Ohio to George and Carol (Stewart) Rhome. A 1975 graduate of Alliance High School, Dennis worked for the family business, K&D Truck Service and YRC, formerly known as Roadway Express where he earned a place among the YRC Freight Million Milers, for having 1 Million accident-free miles. A member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Denny served on church council, was an usher, communion assistant, long time youth advisor, cooked for church dinners and breakfasts and played with the former church softball league. He belonged to the Dante Club, was an avid bowler for many years, enjoyed geneology, and most importantly loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his parents, George and Carol Rhome, wife, Deborah (Castina) Rhome, whom he married 28, 1975, children, Jeremy (Bethany) Rhome, Gina (Josh) Falconer, Joshua (Janet) Rhome; sister, Sandra (Mark) Poe, brothers, Kenny (Kim) Rhome, Roger (Tracy) Rhome, Ronnie (Missy) Rhome; grandchildren, Brennan (Desiree), Taylor, Allison, Corbyn, Bergen and Dominic; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan, and nephew, Ronald D. Rhome Jr. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. , 26, 2014, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church with The Rev. Timothy Muse officiating. Obituary: Age 61 of Oxford passed away at his home on 31, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on 23, 1953 the son of Edgar and Clara (Roark) Rhodus. Duane was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a retired employee of Hueston Woods Lodge. On May 12, 2001 at Hueston Woods Lodge, he married Monica Diane Thoms. Duane enjoyed the outdoors and bowling. He loved horses. He is survived by his wife to who he was devoted, Monica Rhodus; his children, Jeremi Rhodus, Josh (Amber) Rhodus, Justin (Shalene) Rhodus, Martha Hicks, Brent (Lindsey) Hicks, Geoffrey (Bonnie) Hicks, and Cedric Hicks; 16 grandchildren; his sisters, Marilyn (Cecil) Rhodus and Donna (J.L.) Peters; brothers, Eddie (Marcia) Rhodus and Tommy (Julia) Rhodus; and a sister-in-law, Helen Rhodus. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gene Rhodus.
