Obituary: Charles E. Ridge, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on , 17, 2014. Visitation will be from 2pm - 4pm , 19, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee in Pearl. services will be held at 11am in the funeral home chapel with interment at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Charlie was born 4, 1929 in Marion , TN. He retired from the National Weather Service after 37 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Emma Ridge (McHone); sister, Barbara Ann; and brothers, Jimmy Dale Ridge and David Michael Ridge. Charlie is survived by his cherished wife of 64 years, Julia Ridge; daughters, Jackie Boteler (Vernon) and Kay Monahan (Bobby); seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a multitude of friends; numerous cousins and extended family. Obituary: Ileene Smith Riddle, 82, passed away , 23, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born 30, 1931, to Earnest T. and Maggie Smith. getting out of school, she was a factory worker, manager at Catos in Booneville and then onto production at ITT in Corinth, as well as a wonderful private caregiver. She loved her entire family unconditionally, and enjoyed doing good deeds when possible. She enjoyed old country music, reading books and doing laundry. Her happy place was tackling stains in laundry and accomplishing that task often by using elbow grease and her finger nail. A celebration of life will be at 11:00 AM , 25, 2014 at McMillan Chapel with Bro. Glen Reeder officiating. Burial will be in the Old Mormon . She is survived by her Spouse, David Wayne Riddle of Booneville; two daughters, Gail Spencer of Booneville and Kay (Juan) Gonzalez of Florida; one son, Corey T. Visitation will be , May 10, 2016 from 9:30 until 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Broadmoor Baptist Church with services following. Elsie was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi on 22, 1931 to Charles and Blanche Steppe. She had two brothers, Charles and Olen, and a sister, Inez. Elsie moved to New Albany, Mississippi soon after she was born. She graduated from New Albany High School in 1949. In 1952, she married Richard Frank Riddle. had one son, Richard Frank Dick Riddle, Jr. and a daughter, Debbie Riddle Bradberry. The family moved to Jackson in 1966. Richard and Elsie joined Broadmoor Baptist Church shortly after coming to Jackson, and she remained an active member until her death. She worked for Zurich Insurance for twenty-seven years and retired as a property underwriter. Elsie was an avid reader and bridge player. She also enjoyed fishing at their lake house on Eagle Lake. But recently, her favorite pastime was spending as much time as possible with her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Olen, and granddaughter Heather Occhipinti. She is survived by her husband Richard, son Dick (Kim), and daughter Debbie (Randall), brother Charles, sister Inez, grandchildren: Laurie Johnson (Todd), Brad Occhipinti (Megan), Ashley Allen (Robby), Megan Malone (Kyle), Bo Bradberry (CC), Laurie Lienard (Kevin), Libby Bradberry, Alison Sullivan, Mitchell Sullivan, and Matthew Sullivan; and ten great-grandchildren. Obituary: Barbara Kay Murphy Riddle, 65, returned to her heavenly home on , 7, 2016, after a valiant battle with a long illness. She was born 14, 1950 to Gene Tunney and Vera Frances Gann Murphy. She was retired from Mississippi Forestry Commission, where she worked as a secretary, and was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church. She was kind and loving, and always had time for her family. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM , 9, 2016 at McMillan with Bro. Ray Hall and Bro. Grice Webb officiating. Burial will be in Forked Oak . She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Riddle; four daughters, Lisa Peak and Tammi (Michael) Metz both of Booneville, Jennifer (Rusty) Slack of Marietta, and (Doug) Burgess of Corinth; one son, y (RaShanda) Riddle of Guin, AL; her father, Gene Tunney Murphy of Booneville; two sisters, Connie (Terrell) Boren of Saltillo and Sandra (Ricky) Neaves of Madison; one brother, Danny (Barbara) Murphy of Booneville; eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her mother. Pallbearers will be, Will Slack, Ben Slack, Tyler Burgess, Chi Wesson, Alex Wesson, Dustin Bridges, Justin Denson, Brad Denson, and Trevor Boren.
