Son to Dr. Warren Ruchie Sr. (deceased) and Rita Ruchie, and son in law to William and Patricia Toomey. Brother to Janice, Nancy, Cindy, Mary (deceased), John who gave him life many times through bone marrow and kidney transplants over 30 years, Jeff and Jill (twins), Jim, and Mark. The Ruchies are a truly unique and incredible family that grew up in a small farming community in Willmar, Minnesota in the 1960s when rebelling in pursuit of a more compassionate world was the only item on the menu. Where you can still return and revel in the glorious simple and compassionate world of freedom, liberation, independence, and devotion to family and friends, while surrounded by beautiful lakes, rolling grassy hills and farms, and all the love for the true American Spirit. It is this world that made Warren the most compassionate life partner that entered Barbara, and his beautiful boys world, and gave selfless love and beauty to everyone around him.
