Obituary: Lewiston - Patricia Robitaille 98 formerly of Mount Hope Ave. died 1st at Montello Manor Assisted Living with her family by her side. Born in Magog P.Q. Canada 9, 1916 a daughter of the late Joseph & Delia Paradis DesFosses, she was educated in Canadian schools. She was married to Alphee E. Robitaille 3, 1936. He died 21, 1997. Mrs. Robitaille was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church. She enjoyed her family including all her grandchildren and their children, cooking, sewing, canning, playing cards, gardening, family get togethers, baking beans, shopping especially for bras, and bathing her many newborn grandchildren. Our mom will be remembered for her smile, her laugh, her wicked sense of humor, her compassion and willingness to help anyone in need anytime, and her undying devotion to her family. She is survived by two daughters, Claudette Lizotte and husband Ralph of Norton, MA, Anita Gove and late husband Fred of Windham, NH, three sons, Victor Robitaille and wife Linda of Sabattus, Louis Robitaille and wife Linda of Loudon, TN, John Robitaille and wife Mary of Greene, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren 5 great-great-grandchildren, her sister Florianne Robitaille and husband Lionel (Sonny) of Lewiston, daughters-in-law, Barbara & Virginia Robitaille, son-in-law Frank Kwiatkowski. She was also predeceased by a daughter Annette Kwiatkowski two sons Alphee Jr. and Hector (Babe) Robitaille, two granddaughters Stacy Robitaille and Tina Bellegarde, six sisters and a brother. Obituary: Lisbon Falls- On 3rd Loretta was called to be with the Lord and her husband Bob while at home in Lisbon Falls surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born Loretta Agnes Ostiguy in Troy, N.Y. on Sept. 10, 1938 to Joseph and Margaret Ostiguy and was the oldest child of 5. In her earlier years she worked for Montgomery Wards and the telephone company as an operator. She was happily married to Robert E. Robitaille on 17, 1960. She was the cornerstone of her family. While raising 5 children Loretta was an active and devoted member of Holy Family church which later became part of the Holy Trinity parish. She was the Director of Religious Education for over 25 years and also ran the RCIA & RCAC programs while earning her degree in religious education. She was on the parish council for many years and was involved in most committees. She was a member of a bowling league for over 10 years. She enjoyed ceramics, a passion passed down from her mother. She made many gifts over the years for family and friends which are still cherished today. She enjoyed knitting until arthritis made it difficult to continue. All of the children and most of the grandchildren have a blanket knitted by her. She is survived by her brothers Richard Ostiguy & wife Pat of Latham NY, Paul Ostiguy & wife Rose of Cohoes NY, Robert Ostiguy & wife Aggie of Cohoes NY; Sons Robert Robitaille & wife Arlette of Lisbon Falls ME, Richard Robitaille & wife Nikki of Galway NY, Michael Robitaille & wife Lolita of Lisbon Falls ME; Daughters Cheryl Robitaille of Lisbon Falls ME and Kathy McLean & husband Mike of Westbrook ME; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Sisters-in-law (Cohorts in cruising) Nancy Ellison and Janet Robitaille of Malta NY & brother-in-law Tom Robitaille & wife Helen of Malta NY. Loretta was pre-deceased by her husband Robert (Tilly) of 50 years, both parents, her sister Margaret (Peggy) Geden, nephew David Ostiguy, grandson Nick Robitaille and BFF since childhood Helen Pillsworth. Obituary: Lisbon - Diane V. Robitaille, 58, of Lisbon, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher, friend and mentor passed away , 24, 2010 quietly in her sleep. She was born in Lewiston on 9, 1951, a daughter of the late Henry and Monette Tremblay Jalbert. She graduated from St. Dominic High School, class of 1969. She graduated from Thomas with a BS Degree in Teaching. She married Bertrand (Ti Bert) Robitaille, her best friend and love of her life on 9, 1973. He predeceased her on 30, 2008. made their home in Lisbon with their sons Kris and Nicholas. She loved spending time in her swimming pool and in her flower and vegetable garden. Diane began her teaching career at Windham High School from 1973 to 1977. She jumped at the opportunity to teach at her alma mater, St. Dominic Regional High School and spent the next 33 years teaching many Business and Computer classes. She also taught Adult Education in Lewiston. Her love for teaching at St. Dominics went way beyond the classroom. She was cheering moderator for many years and was the biggest supporter of the competition squad as they won many state championships under her guidance. Her famous words to her cheerleaders were Smile until your cheeks hurt. She touched the lives of many of her students and faculty members. The St. Doms community as well as the community at large is weeping at the loss of this beautiful woman. Her grandchildren, Caleb and Owen, meant the world to her and she spent every available moment playing with them and reading them stories. She enjoyed helping at her daughter-in-laws day care doing arts and crafts and helping with parties. All the children called her memere. Diane was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Holy Cross Church. She is survived by her sons, Kris of Seattle, Wash, Nicholas and wife Christina of Lewiston; two grandsons Caleb and Owen Robitaille; sisters Marlene Godin and husband Pete of Lisbon, Linda Gelinas of Lisbon; goddaughters Koreen Plourde and Kayla Gelinas; special cousin or another sister Susan Fortier and her husband Michael of Lewiston; special niece Rachel Roy of New Hampshire who gave her the gift of life of a new kidney; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
