Obituary: WOLFEBORO,NH: Theodore Emil Ted Reissfelder, 81, of Auburn and formerly of Ossipee, NH, passed away 18, 2015 at Wolfeboro Bay in Wolfeboro, NH. A native of Ossipee, he was born on 11, 1933, to Theodore Arthur and Pauline (Burleigh) Reissfelder. He grew up in Moultonville, NH and attended the United Methodist Church there with his family. He was educated at the Ossipee Central School where he was a member of both the basketball and baseball teams. He graduated from Kennett High School in North Conway, NH and studied engineering at the University of NH in Durham. He later joined the U.S. Army and served honorably from 1955-1957. Ted enjoyed both water skiing and snow skiing and met his wife, Therese L. Giguere, while she was on a ski vacation in North Conway. were married on 19, 1963 at the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul in Lewiston. He worked as a draftsman at the Bates Mill for many years. Bates closed, he worked at Bachmann Industries/Wahlco-Metroflex as an auto-CAD draftsman. He and his wife kept a home on Broad Bay of Ossipee Lake in Ossipee, NH until 2006. Ted was well known as a craftsman and handyman who constructed houses, built many beautiful pieces of furniture and crafted numerous decorative rock walls. Many of the items he drafted while at Bachmann Industries were fabricated there and incorporated into power plants built around the world. He is survived by his two children; Tyson P. of Lewiston, ME, his wife Louise (LeBlond) and their two children, Jillian and Caleb; and Tammy A. Mansfield of Sheridan, WY, her husband Jeffrey and their two children, Katharine and Nathan; his sisters, Peggy Smith of Concord, NH, Nancy Hoppe of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, and Teds companion Barbara (Donnelly) Campbell of Glen, NH. He is predeceased by his wife Therese and brother, William Billy Reissfelder. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.thefortingroupauburn.com. A memorial visitation will take place on , 26 from 5 to 8 PM at The Fortin Group/Auburn. Obituary: SKOWHEGAN -- Robert A. Reisner Sr., 86, of Skowhegan passed away , Nov. 1, 2011, at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 8, 1925, the son of Alfred and Amanda (Redel) Reisner in Chicago. The lessons of being raised during the Great Depression and the influence of that time helped to shape who he was and deepened his appreciation for simple things in life and his family. He was an athlete in his youth, both in football and baseball, participating in tryouts for the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball team. Robert was an Army veteran, serving in the European theater in World War II. returning home, he pursued his early interest in music and graduated from Chicago School of Music with a fine arts degree in of music. He was an aspiring professional opera tenor and was well regarded by his peers. Along the way, he worked as a chef at various restaurants, including the Boston Somerset while attending music education there, and Lakewood Theater. A love for the country lifestyle somehow brought him to Cornville in 1960, where he raised his family, before moving to Skowhegan. In Maine he was employed as a music teacher in public school systems, working in Madison, Carrabec, Bingham and Rangeley schools. For nearly 40 years he either participated in or directed the Federated Church Choir and the Skowhegan Community Band and Chorus, and he helped organize many concerts and parades. Robert became a dairy farmer in 1968, and ran his farm with his sons while he taught music until 1985. It was during this time he also became a member of the National Farmers Organization, serving in many capacities, including director of the Rochester, N.H., marketing office. He counted his advocacy of family farms and his farm life as equally important to his musical career. He had a strong voice for the underdog. The many farmers and friends he met in this endeavor remained lifelong. Despite many physical limitations, Bob continued to carry out his love of music until his final days. His charismatic spirit will be missed by many. He is survived by his three children, Jenny Diehl and companion Bo of Marietta, Ga., Robert Reisner Jr. and wife Denise of Skowhegan, Mark Reisner of Marietta; four stepchildren, Edward Preble and wife Pam of Roswell, N.M., Sheila Alioto and husband Bruce of Missouri, James Preble and wife Sally of Cornville, Gigi Hyndan and husband David of Thomaston; four adopted children, William Houghton and wife Joann of Skowhegan, Bradley Houghton and wife Lisa of Canaan, Albert Houghton and wife Rachel of Skowhegan, Eric Houghton and partner Michael of Poland; one brother, Don Reisner and wife Virginia of Elmhurst, Ill.; one sister, Carlson of Chicago; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at noon on , Nov. 11, at the Skowhegan Federated Church, Island Avenue, Skowhegan, with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating. Burial will be in East Ridge in Cornville. Bobs love and compassion for animals was great, and he provided a warm and loving home for countless dogs, cats and barnyard animals. Obituary: Philip K. Reiman, 88 Falmouth - Philip Kenworthy Reiman, 88, died 5, 2010 at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Born in Boston, Mr. Reiman was a graduate of Cornell University, with an advanced degree from the University of Chicago. He was the Executive Director of Maine Medical , Portland, from 1962 through 1976. He held the same position at Southern Maine Medical , Biddeford, from 1977 until his retirement in 1988. Earlier in his career, Mr. Reiman was Assistant Director of the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and of St. Lukes Hospital, Saginaw, Michigan. He had also served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Reiman had been a gubernatorial appointee to the Maine Coordinating Planning Council and President of the Maine Hospital Association. He was also a member of the Southern Maine Comprehensive Association, the Maine Planning Agency, the American Hospital Association, the Council of Teaching Hospitals of the Association of American Medical s, the University of Southern Maine School of Business Advisory Board, and Rotary. He was a corporator of the Webber Hospital Association and the Maine Medical . Mr. Reiman had been an honorary director of Blue Cross, a member of the Board of Directors of the Foreside Common Association, a volunteer with the Service Corps of Retired Executives, a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and a long time member of Foreside Community Church, Falmouth. His was a life of service to others. His wife, Catherine McDonald Reiman, predeceased him in 2007. He is survived by daughters, Laurie Reiman Mooney of Portland, and Anne McDonald Reiman of Falmouth, a grandson, Christopher Mooney and his wife Jessica Ford Mooney of California; a sister, Joanne Eusden of Brunswick; a brother, Peter Reiman of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. His integrity, hard work and compassion will serve as an enduring example to all who knew and loved him. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at Foreside Community Church, 340 Foreside Road, Falmouth, ME at 11:00 a.m. on , 16, 2010.
