Obituary: With overwhelming sadness and grief, the family of Gail Robinson announce her death. Gail passed away 15th, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was a long time member of Blackwater United Methodist Church, and resident of Central, LA. many years in State Government, she retired from the La. Department of Agriculture & Forestry to travel with her husband, family and friends. Gail was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and enjoyed spoiling all of them. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Charles R. Robinson, beloved children David Robinson and wife Tonya, Clay Robinson and wife Rebecca. Her much loved grandchildren are Landon Robinson, Ethan, Luke and Abigail Robinson. Gail is also survived by brother, Tommy Corley and wife Debbie, sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Dwayne Digirolamo, and Chyrl and Rod Pahor. Visitation will be held on , 16th from 2 PM to 4 PM at Blackwater United Methodist Church (10000 Blackwater Road) with funeral services to immediately follow with burial at Blackwater Cemetary. Pallbearers will be Justin Digirolamo, Brandon Corley, Troy Duplessis, Barry Nolen, Larry Hebert and Wayne Smith. Obituary: Mrs. Lemealue Lewis Robinson slipped into immortality and formally joined the Community of Saints , 20, 2017. Daughter of Martha Williams Lewis Anderson and Washington Lewis of Pike , MS, she was the oldest of five girls. She was a homemaker, volunteer, civic leader and businesswoman. Mrs. Robinson was a longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, now the community of Blessed Sacrament - St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish. She sent her three children to Blessed Sacrament, while quietly enriching the lives of their schoolmates. She was the inaugural Cub master of BSSs Pack 256, Boy Scouts of America. Under her leadership, cub scouts and their families took annual week-long summer trips throughout the southeastern United States, repeatedly visiting some areas like Washington, D.C., NASA/Orlando, FL, Stone Mountain/Atlanta, GA and Lookout Mountain, TN. She also was the first African American woman to head the New Orleans Area Councils Cub Scout Day Camp, and was awarded distinguished service awards throughout her involvement in Scouting. Mrs. Robinson was an active and supportive parent of Blessed Sacrament School, Lutheran High School, Xavier Prep, St. John Vianney Prep, Delgado Community , Loyola University and the University of Notre Dame. She brought the Girl Scouts to what is now St. Katherine Drexel Preparatory School. her children reached adulthood, Mrs. Robinson became an active member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (even serving in Arizona in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina) and joined the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. Peter Claver, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Court, Third Degree, #47. Gracious Lady Robinson was elevated into M.L. Lunnon, Chapter Number Four in 2007. In 2008, The Knights and Ladies of the New Orleans Central Committee named her Lady of the Year. Mrs. Robinson was also a member of Louisiana ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), and a helpful neighbor, seeking to encourage and assist anyone who wanted to better their situation. Mrs. Robinson was married to the late Hoxie Wallace Robinson. She leaves sons Ray C. Robinson (Joyce) and Eric J. Robinson (Alysa, deceased), daughter Dale Robinson-Rogers (James) and grandchildren Chasidy, Alexandria and Aliska to continue her legacy. She is survived by her youngest sister, Delores Colleen Anderson Wright, and joins sisters Georgia Lewis Heard, Lavern Lewis Crain and Mary Lewis Davis in paradise. Mrs. Robinson is survived by a host of nieces (Brenda, Wanda Jean, Terry Lynn, Theresa), nephews (Johnny, Michael, Romel-deceased, Rudolph, Louis, Roy Michael and Raymond III), their children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family, especially members of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. Peter Claver, M.L. Lunnon, Chapter Number Four, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Court, Third Degree, #47, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul-Greater New Orleans, also pastors, officers, and members of Blessed Sacrament - St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Holy Ghost Catholic Church, St. Raymond and St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, and Truevine Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, TX, the doctors, nurses and staff of Touro Infirmary, Jo Ellen Smith Convalescent , Canon Hospice, and the alumni, administrators, teachers and staff of Lutheran High School & Xavier Preparatory School/St. Katherine Drexel Preparatory School, as well as the officers and staff of the Fleur de Lis District, Southeast Louisiana Council, Boy Scouts of America, musicians who have performed and supported E.J.
