Obituary: Roberta Sue Rachuig passed away on evening, 9th. Sue was born in Houston, Texas on 13, 1946 to Ethel and Leon Roos, both deceased. She is survived by her daughter Marie Kathleen Rachuig of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is also survived by her five siblings: John Roos (Carole), Old Hickory, Tennessee; David Roos (Mary) South Bend, Indiana; LaVeta Roos Clovis, Pearland, Texas; Stephen Roos (Kathleen), Schulenburg. Texas; and Patricia Wright (Kenneth) Deer Park, Texas. Her much loved nieces and nephews that survive her are: Eleanor Roos (Colm), Andrew Roos, Dave Roos (Amy) Kathryn Roos, Travis Clovis (Summer), Matthew Clovis (Aspen), J R Lichnovsky (Shallen), Eric Roos, Katy Wright and Thomas Wright. She is blessed with surviving great niece Abigail and great nephews Joshua, Cooper, Conner and Jackson. Sue graduated from Marian High School in Houston, Texas. She received her B.A. from the University of Houston, Houston Texas, and her MBA from Houston Baptist University. Sue devoted her life to the biblical invitation to care for the sick. For over forty years she worked to help hospitals serve the afflicted more effectively working in the field of Hospital Information Technology. For some 20 years she led the modernization of information technology at St. Joseph Hospital, run by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. In 1994 she went to work for Hospital Corporation of America and when they developed their partnership with Tulane Medical /HCA Mid America Division, she became Director of Hospital Information Systems. Leading Tulane's movement into the computer age, she built and developed the Tulane Medical Office of Information Technology into one of the most outstanding in the country. Her IT team became renowned for its technical excellence, its tenacity, and its team work. Sue hired and developed top talent, and molded them into a cohesive team dedicated to providing the very best resources in the job of caring for the ill. Talking to her colleagues, both those on her team and in higher administration, one finds that she provided not only technical excellence, but human caring, mentoring and nurturing. A family crisis? go home and get help, and find Sue there to support you. Plagued by illness? Sue would make sure you got the care to become well. Family illness? Find Sue there to listen, console and support. Her colleagues gave a party to celebrate Sues years of leadership of the IT team. Time and time again they recalled the way Sue had not only helped them develop professionally, but also cared for and nurtured them in their times of trial. An evening of accolades for her excellence and tears of thanks for her loving care and support was testimony to the great life she lived. Her family and friends found the same core of love and support: Sue was always there for them. Sue loved sewing, baking, going to the beach, beating her siblings at bridge, making her mothers recipe for potato salad, and being "Aunt Sue" to her beloved nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was the pride and love she had for her daughter Marie. Marie followed in her mothers footsteps of caring for others in her career in special education. The last four years after Marie moved to New Orleans were especially happy times for them. For the last year Sue courageously battled cancer with characteristic grace and bravery. Sue will be missed but not forgotten. She will be lovingly remembered by so many family and friends whose lives she made better especially her grand dogs Prince Isaac and Duchess Caroline. The family is grateful to HCA System, Tulane Medical and Tulane Cancer , Egan and Hospice with special thanks to Birdie and Trina. Obituary: William Frank Rachuba passed away on , 11, 2016 at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of Eloise H. Rachuba. Loving father of Reggie Rachuba, Danny Rachuba, Deborah Rachuba Dobronich (Forest) and the late William F. “Bill” Rachuba Jr. Son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Trigo Rachuba. Proud grandfather of Nina Shepard (Mike), Reg Rachuba (Jeanne), Justin Lang (Desiree) and Courtney Dobronich (Tony). Also survived by 2 step grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. William was a decorated World War II Veteran and proudly served in the United States Army, G 517 Parachute Infantry Regiment and G 505 Parachute Infantry 82nd Airborne. Obituary: Billy Anderson Rachels was born 9, 1938 to Cleveland and Pauline Anderson in Blue, OK. She went to be with her Lord on , 10, 2016 surrounded by family at Lifecares Willis Knighton Pierremont location. Services will be held at Hill Crest in Haughton, LA on , 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Justin Haigler from The Simple Church officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial . Visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Honoring Billy as pallbearers will be Shawn Bouillion, Trenton DeFatta, Stephen Kilpatrick, Lance Milford, Lawerence Milford and Robert Mello. Billy was reunited in heaven by her husband, Jack Rachels; daughter, Debbie Green; her parents; her siblings, Bobbie Lowell, Ronald Anderson, and Belva Lee; and nephew Jimmy Anderson. She will be missed by her daughters P.J. Rachels, Shelly (Michael) White, Jackie Rachels, and son-in-law Michael Green; her grandchildren include Melissa (Shawn) Bouillion, Rachal Smith, Angela Green, Jason (Devin) Rachels, Jennifer (Robert) Mello, and Richard Lee. Also, left behind to cherish her wonderful memory are her great-grandchildren, Morgan and Christina Kilpatrick; Tyler and Kaelyn Bouillion; Abbigal, Caroline, Colton Smith; Trenton DeFatta; Christopher and Sarah Grace Finklea; and Emma Rae Mello. Billy is also survived by her sisters, Betty King and Kay Angel and their families, plus a host of extended family and friends. Billy loved cheering on her great-grandchildren in all of their activities. She was a regular attender of the Simple Church. She loved cooking for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, courage, and loving spirit. She was a survivor of Stage four Metastatic Breast Cancer. Her family and friends will cherish all of their memories. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation and gratitude to the entire staff at Willis Knighton Cancer , Andrea Moore, Dr. Jason Milligan and staff; Dr. Jason Nelson; Dr. Hector Brunet; and the staff at Lifecare at Willis Knighton Pierremont. Johnny is survived by his mother Mathilda Vincent Racheau; brother, Bill Racheau, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann; two sisters, Christine Racheau and Tammy Racheau Landry and her husband William and two nephews Brandon and Matthew Racheau.
