Obituary: Donald Papa Smurf Renfrow, 84, of Central City, died on 11, 2014 at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Muhlenberg on 1, 1930 to the late Birch and Blanche Sandifur Renfrow. Donald served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Island Church of God of Prophecy. He was a well known fixture at the Powderly, Kentucky Rural King where he worked part time as a greeter and the Pop Corn Man. Before retirement he had worked as a machinist. Donald was a gentle man with a quick smile. He enjoyed going to church, listening to southern gospel music, spending time with friends and family, fishing and working in the yard. Donald was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Magdalene Renfrow; a daughter, Elaine Renfrow of Central City; and a sister. There will not be a public visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Hospice or Island Church of God of Prophecy.

Obituary: Cleo Renfrow, 80, of Louisville, passed away , 23, 2010 at Mason Christian Village in Cincinnati. She was the former Cleo Tomes, a member of Manslick Road Church of Christ and a former member of Shively Church of Christ. She had worked as a seamstress for the old Ben Snyder Department Store and enjoyed making treasured quilts for loved ones. While living at Wesley Manor Retirement Community in Louisville, she always enjoyed the frequent activities and outings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sheridan Renfrow and grandson Matthew Hutchinson. Obituary: Anna Bell Richeson Renfrow, 91, of Owensboro passed away , 2, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical System. Born in Ohio on 29, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Early Mae Bartlett Richeson; was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church; and had worked as bookkeeper for the family business, Renfrow Lumber; and was an Avon Sales Rep in Owensboro for more than 40 years earning top sales honors several years. Mrs. Renfrow was an avid NASCAR fan since its beginning iin the 1950s; had attended several races in Florida, Michigan, and Georgia; and never missed a race on TV. She was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Renfrow, Sr., a son, Jimmy Renfrow; a brother, Ray Richeson; sisters, Margaret Baize, Louise Leach, Lethel Leach, and Betty Henderson; and step-grandchildren, Don Renfrow, Judy Wilson, Steve Richeson, and Darrell Renfrow. Surviving are her children, Linda Renfrow, Shirley (Starling) Lambert, and Sue (Ralph) McCoy all of Owensboro, Bobby (Paula) Renfrow of Buford, and Ernest (Betty) Renfrow, Jr. of Ormand Beach, FL; grandchildren, Christine (Chris) Fears, Nick (Marcy) Lambert, Chris (Tanya) Renfrow, Jennifer Lambert, Laurie (Jason) Chapman; step-grandchildren, James Richeson, Mike Renfrow, and Jimmy Renfrow; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Marian Richeson of Hanson, Bill (Guyneth) Richeson , John R.
