Obituary: Anne Mildred Stout Raymond, 98, passed away 12, 2014. Anne was born on 12, 1916 to Bessie Stout. Mom was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Not a day went by that Mom didn fill the day baking, singing, smiling and caring for her children. Anne is survived by her 6 children Sandra (Paul) Wildridge, Linda Raymond, Michael (Patricia) Raymond, Rebecca (Thomas) Graham, Joseph (Lovena) Raymond and Mary (James) Davidson, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mom was preceded in death by her mother: Bessie Stout, husband: William Francis Raymond, Grandson: Joseph William Raymond, brother: John Perry Stout and sister: Edna Merle Slinger. Visitation will be , 17, 2014 from 10:00 \ 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 7243 E. 10th Street, Indpls, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Obituary: Brenda Jane Prince Rayle, 69, of Bedford died , 28, 2017 in I.U. Hospice House. She was born 24, 1947 in Monroe to Vacel Prince and Nancy Harper Prince. She was retired from the maintenance depart at Indiana University. Survivors include her two daughters, Tracey Smith and her husband Thomas of Bloomington and Crystal Thornton and her husband John of Ellettsville; four grandchildren, Hannah, Madison, Dylan and Brady; her mother, Nancy Harper Prince of Bedford; two brothers, Harold (Nancy) Lee Prince of Bloomington and Phillip Prince of Bedford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Vacel Prince. Brenda was of the Pentecostal faith. Her hobbies were playing bingo, working puzzle books, fishing, watching I.U. Basketball, her dogs and her grand dogs, Miley and Oscar. Services are scheduled for , 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM in Day & Deremiah-Frye , 4150 E. Third St., with Pastor Aaron Strunk officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill . There will be a gathering of family and friends on 2nd from 4:00 - 8:00 PM also in the funeral home. |

Obituary: Roseland L. Rayl, 95, of Greentown, passed away at 1:15 PM 4, 2015 in century Villa care, Greentown. Born May 23, 1919 in Greentown, she was the daughter of the late Ray A. Condon and Alma Golda (Wright) Condon. She graduated from Greentown High School in 1936. On 11, 1943 in Greentown, she married John F. Rayl, who preceded her in death on May 12, 1971. She attended the University of Wisconsin, Indiana University, and received her Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Butler University. She taught school in Greentown and Kokomo, retiring in 1981. She assisted in introducing a Special Education Program in the Kokomo School System. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a life member of the National Education Association; also a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She had former memberships with the Council for Exceptional Children, Phi Chi Epsilon Sorority, Altrusa Club, and Association of University Women. Roseland was a member of the International Travelers Century Club, First Advantage Travel Club, Delco Good-Timers Club, and Voyager 1000. She made 244 trips to 117 foreign countries and had traveled to all 50 states and all 7 continents, including Antarctica. She had also been on 3 African Safaris and 25 cruises. She was a remarkable lady. the loss of her son and husband she chose to take a positive path. She continued her passion for teaching and learning. She always said you are never too old to learn something new every day of your life. Together with her passion for learning and her spirit for adventure she began traveling. She was definitely an inspiration to everyone. Survivors include nieces and nephews Derry and Patricia Condon, Denny and Brenda Condon, and David and Billie Lou Bankoff. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son Jeff Rayl in 1959. services will be 1:00 PM 7, 2015 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Reverend Brian Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kokomo Public Library or to the World Wildlife Federation. |
